行事為人對得起主，凡事讓他喜歡，在一切善行上結果子，在認識上帝上增長着，

你們要住在我裏面，我就住在你們裏面。正如枝子、若不連在葡萄樹上，憑着自己是不能結果子的；你們若不住在我裏面，也是這樣。我是葡萄樹，你們是枝子。住在我裏面、而我住在他裏面的、這種人才能多結果子；因為離了我、你們就不能作甚麼。

但那撒在好土上的，是人聽了道就領悟；他總是結實：有的結了一百倍，有的六十倍，有的三十倍。』

但那在好土裏的、是那以誠實而善良之心聽了道的；他們持守着，又在堅忍中結實。

另有的落到好土裏，發生長大，結着果實，結成了三十倍、六十倍、一百倍。』；

不是你們揀選了我，乃是我揀選了你們，並且分派你們去結果子，並使你們的果子得以長存，使你們奉我的名無論向父求甚麼，他就給你們。

末了，弟兄們，我們在主耶穌裏求你們，勸你們——你們既從我們領受了主的話，知道該怎樣行、讓上帝喜歡，你們也真地這樣行——我就勸你們要更加力行。

因為你們若有這幾樣、並且增多着，就會使你們在認識我們的主耶穌基督上、不至於無能而不結果子了。

充滿了那藉着耶穌基督而有的仁義果子，使上帝得到榮耀與稱讚。

所以你們呢、我的弟兄們，你們因屬於基督的身體、對於律法也可被看為已死的、可以歸於別人的，就是歸於那從死人中得甦活起來的，好叫我們可以給上帝結果子。

至於靈之果子呢、就是愛、喜樂、和平、恆忍、慈惠、良善、忠信、柔和、節制：這樣的事、沒有律法能禁止。

以撒在那地播種，就在那一年得了百倍的收成：永恆主賜福與他。
