忽然，他們喊叫說：「神的兒子啊，我們與你有什麼關係？時候來到之前，你就來這裡折磨我們嗎？」

忽然，在他們的會堂裡，有一個被汙靈附身的人喊叫，說：「拿撒勒人耶穌，我們與你有什麼關係？你來毀滅我們嗎？我知道你是誰，你是神的那位聖者。」

那試探者前來對他說：「你如果是神的兒子，就吩咐這些石頭變成食物吧！」

也有鬼魔從許多人身上出來，喊叫說：「你是神的兒子！」耶穌斥責它們，不讓它們說話，因為它們知道他是基督。

他一看見耶穌，就喊叫起來，俯伏在耶穌面前，大聲說：「至高神的兒子耶穌，我與你有什麼關係？求求你不要折磨我！」

她跟著保羅和我們，喊叫說：「這些人是至高神的奴僕，向你們傳講救恩的道。」

你相信神只有一位，你就做得很好！連鬼魔也相信，並且恐懼戰兢。

那些鬼魔就央求耶穌，說：「如果你要把我們趕出去，就叫我們進入這群豬裡面去吧。」

對他說：「你如果是神的兒子，就跳下去吧！因為經上記著：『他會為你吩咐他的天使；他們會用手托住你，免得你的腳撞在石頭上。』」

可是有一些四處遊歷的猶太驅魔師，向那些有邪靈附身的人，擅自稱呼主耶穌的名，說：「我藉著保羅所傳的耶穌，吩咐你們出來。」有一個名叫斯克瓦的猶太祭司長，他的七個兒子都在做這種事。邪靈回答他們，說：「耶穌我認識，保羅我也知道！但你們呢？你們是誰？」有邪靈附身的那個人就跳到他們身上，壓制了所有的人，勝過了他們，以致他們赤著身帶著傷，從那房子逃了出去。所有住在以弗所的猶太人和希臘人，都知道了這件事，恐懼就臨到了他們每個人，主耶穌的名因此被尊為大。

不管黑夜白晝，他常常在墓地和山上喊叫，又用石頭砍自己。他遠遠地看見耶穌，就跑過去，向他下拜，

船上的人都拜耶穌，說：「你真是神的兒子！」

神的兒子耶穌基督福音的開始。
