耶稣又在海边教训人。有许多人到他那里聚集，他只得上船坐下。船在海里，众人都靠近海，站在岸上。耶稣就用比喻教训他们许多道理。在教训之间，对他们说：

约翰下监以后，耶稣来到加利利，宣传神的福音，

务要传道，无论得时不得时总要专心，并用百般的忍耐、各样的教训责备人，警戒人，劝勉人。

他到底怎么说呢？他说：“这道离你不远，正在你口里，在你心里。”就是我们所传信主的道。

耶稣出来，见有许多的人，就怜悯他们，因为他们如同羊没有牧人一般，于是开口教训他们许多道理。

有一天，耶稣教训人，有法利赛人和教法师在旁边坐着；他们是从加利利各乡村和犹太并耶路撒冷来的。主的能力与耶稣同在，使他能医治病人。
