耶穌對他們說：「新郎與賓客在一起的時候，難道賓客能禁食嗎？只要他們與新郎在一起，他們就不能禁食。

耶穌曰、新娶者偕在、賀婚者能禁食乎、新娶者尚在、不能禁食也、

耶穌曰、新娶者在、賀娶者安用禁食乎、蓋新娶者尚在、無庸禁食矣、

耶穌曰、新娶者尚在、賀娶之客豈可禁食、蓋新娶者尚在、彼不能禁食、

耶穌對曰：『新壻在、賀婚之友能守齋乎？蓋新壻一日與之偕、若輩即一日不宜守齋。

Jesus replied,“ Do wedding guests fast while celebrating with the groom? Of course not. They can’t fast while the groom is with them.

And Jesus said to them,“ While the groom is with them, the attendants of the groom cannot fast, can they? As long as they have the groom with them, they cannot fast.

And Jesus said to them,“ Can the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they cannot fast.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the sons of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them,“ The wedding guests cannot fast while the groom is with them, can they? As long as they have the groom with them, they cannot fast.

And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Jesus said to them,“ The wedding guests cannot fast while the bridegroom is with them, can they? As long as they have the bridegroom with them they do not fast.

Jesus said to them,“ Can the groomsmen fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they can’t fast.

“那时，天国好比十个童女拿着灯出去迎接新郎。其中有五个是愚拙的，五个是聪明的。愚拙的拿着灯，却不预备油；聪明的拿着灯，又预备油在器皿里。新郎迟延的时候，她们都打盹，睡着了。半夜有人喊着说：‘新郎来了，你们出来迎接他！’那些童女就都起来收拾灯。愚拙的对聪明的说：‘请分点油给我们，因为我们的灯要灭了。’聪明的回答说：‘恐怕不够你我用的；不如你们自己到卖油的那里去买吧。’她们去买的时候，新郎到了。那预备好了的，同他进去坐席，门就关了。

拉班就摆设筵席，请齐了那地方的众人。

他父亲下去见女子。参孙在那里设摆筵宴，因为向来少年人都有这个规矩。众人看见参孙，就请了三十个人陪伴他。

有六十王后八十妃嫔，并有无数的童女。

她要穿锦绣的衣服，被引到王前；随从她的陪伴童女也要被带到你面前。
