But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,”– he said to the paralytic–

不过为要使你们知道人子在地上有赦免罪的权柄——”耶稣就对瘫痪的人说：

但要叫你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：

但要讓你們知道，人子在地上有赦罪的權柄。」就對癱子說：

然而為了要你們知道人子在地上有赦罪的權柄，（他就對癱子說：）

但是、為要叫你們知道人子在地上有權柄可以赦罪』（就對癱子說）

不過為要使你們知道人子在地上有赦免罪的權柄——」耶穌就對癱瘓的人說：

但令爾知人子在世、有權以赦罪耳、遂謂癱瘓者曰、

但令爾知、人子在地、有權以赦罪耳、即語癱瘋者曰、

今特令爾知人子在地、有赦罪之權、即語癱瘓者曰、

第欲爾曹知人子在世、自有赦罪之權耳。』

But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man,

So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said,

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath authority on earth to forgive sins( he saith to the sick of the palsy),

But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”– then he said to the paralytic–“ Stand up, take your stretcher, and go home.”And he stood up and went home.When the crowd saw this, they were afraid and honored God who had given such authority to men.

I was watching in the night visions,“ And with the clouds of the sky one like a son of man was approaching. He went up to the Ancient of Days and was escorted before him.To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty. All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving him. His authority is eternal and will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does, and will show him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed.For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life.I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming– and is now here– when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, thus he has granted the Son to have life in himself,and he has granted the Son authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

even though I was formerly a blasphemer and a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I was treated with mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief,and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”– and I am the worst of them!But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.

When Jesus came to the area of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples,“ Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
