Jesus climbed into a boat and went back across the lake to his own town.

As Jesus approached Jericho, a blind beggar was sitting beside the road.When he heard the noise of a crowd going past, he asked what was happening.They told him that Jesus the Nazarene was going by.So he began shouting,“ Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

But the man went and spread the word, proclaiming to everyone what had happened. As a result, large crowds soon surrounded Jesus, and he couldn’t publicly enter a town anywhere. He had to stay out in the secluded places, but people from everywhere kept coming to him.

When he heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went and begged Jesus to come to Capernaum to heal his son, who was about to die.

Some men came carrying a paralyzed man on a sleeping mat. They tried to take him inside to Jesus,

Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre. He didn’t want anyone to know which house he was staying in, but he couldn’t keep it a secret.

When they heard the loud noise, everyone came running, and they were bewildered to hear their own languages being spoken by the believers.
