既至各爾各大、即所謂「髑髏地」者、兵士取膽汁和酒以進、耶穌嘗而不飲。既釘、鬮分其衣、坐而守之、置標於其釘之上端、上書：「斯為猶太人之王。」時有二盜、與耶穌同釘、一在右、一在左。過者搖首而誚之曰：『吁、爾既能毀聖殿、而於三日內復建之、蓋自救歟！爾果為天主之子、盍自脫於架。』司祭長經生耆老亦嘲曰：『彼能救人、不能救己。彼非義塞之王乎？盍自脫於架、俾我信之。彼既依恃天主、苟為天主所寵、天主當來救護、以彼自稱天主子故。』即同釘之盜、亦隨聲附和、加以嗤笑焉。

眾執耶穌、曳之出；耶穌親荷十字架、至一地、名觸髏地希伯來語曰格爾格他、釘焉；與之同釘者二人、一左一右、耶穌居中。比辣多書標、懸之架上曰：『納匝勒耶穌、猶太人王。』耶穌被釘之處離城不遠、故猶太人見此標者、數不在少。且用希伯來希臘拉丁三種文字書成。猶太人之司祭諸長、乃謂比辣多曰：『勿書「猶太人王、」應書「彼自稱為猶太人王。」』比辣多應曰：『書者書矣！』兵士既釘耶穌、取其外衣四分之、各得其一、又取其內衣、內衣無縫、徹上徹下、渾然織成；兵士乃相與曰：『毋裂、且拈鬮以觀孰得。』經云：『分我外服、鬮我內衣。』侍於耶穌架旁者、有聖母、暨聖母之妹、格老法之妻瑪利亞、與瑪達蘭之瑪麗。耶穌見聖母及愛徒並立、乃謂聖母曰：『夫人、此爾子也！』次謂徒曰：『此汝母也！』是後徒乃迎養於其家。

群民隨之、行中有婦人哭之哀、耶穌顧而謂之曰：『耶路撒冷之女兒乎、莫為予哭、當為自身及子女而哭也。蓋來日人將曰：「未妊之婦、未產之胎、未哺之乳、斯為福矣。」爾時人將求山曰：覆我；求丘曰：掩我；蓋青木尚遭此厄、枯木又將如何？』二犯偕行、同赴受刑、既抵髑髏地、乃以耶穌釘之十字架、繼釘二犯、一居右、一居左、耶穌曰：『父乎、眾不知其所為、祈寬赦之。』有人鬮分其衣、民眾環立觀望、官吏相與嘲訕之曰：『彼曾救人；苟其為天主所選之基督、曷亦自救乎？』兵士亦加嘲弄、飲以敗醯、曰：『爾既為猶太人之王、宜可自救。』復懸標其上、書曰：「是為猶太人之王。」
