And he said,“ Abba, Father! All things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me. Nevertheless, not what I will, but what you will.”

又曰、阿巴、父歟、爾無所不能、求使此杯離我、然非從我所欲、乃從爾所欲也、

又曰：『阿爸！全能者父！盍免我飲此爵！雖然、莫從吾意、惟循父旨。』

“ Abba, Father,” he said,“ everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

“ Abba, Father,” he said,“ everything is possible for you. Take this cup of suffering away from me. But let what you want be done, not what I want.”

And he said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Remove this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

“ Abba, Father,” he cried out,“ everything is possible for you. Please take this cup of suffering away from me. Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.”

And He was saying,“ Abba! Father! All things are possible for You; remove this cup from Me; yet not what I will, but what You will.”

And He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; remove this cup from me: howbeit not what I will, but what thou wilt.

And He said,“ Abba, Father! All things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me. Nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

And he said, Abba, Father, all things[ are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible for you. Take this cup away from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

He said,“ Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

And because you are sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying,“ Abba, Father!”

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead, you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out,“ Abba, Father!”The Spirit himself testifies together with our spirit that we are God’s children,

“ I can do nothing on my own. I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will, but the will of him who sent me.

During his earthly life, he offered prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.Although he was the Son, he learned obedience from what he suffered.

“ Now my soul is troubled. What should I say— Father, save me from this hour? But that is why I came to this hour.

For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me.This is the will of him who sent me: that I should lose none of those he has given me but should raise them up on the last day.

At that, Jesus said to Peter,“ Put your sword away! Am I not to drink the cup the Father has given me?”

he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death— even to death on a cross.

Going a little farther, he fell facedown and prayed,“ My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

“ My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work,” Jesus told them.

“ Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honored as holy.

in the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.

Then he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, knelt down, and began to pray,“ Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me— nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

I delight to do your will, my God, and your instruction is deep within me.”

Looking at them, Jesus said,“ With man it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.”

so that through two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled for refuge might have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.

“ Look, I am the LORD, the God over every creature. Is anything too difficult for me?

Is anything impossible for the LORD? At the appointed time I will come back to you, and in about a year she will have a son.”

if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself.
