He said to them,“ It is one of the Twelve— the one who is dipping bread in the bowl with me.

“ It is one of the Twelve,” he replied,“ one who dips bread into the bowl with me.

He answered and said to them,“ It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish.

And he said unto them, It is one of the twelve, he that dippeth with me in the dish.

He said to them,“ It is one of the Twelve— the one who is dipping bread with Me in the bowl.

Jesus replied,“ He’s the one I give the piece of bread to after I have dipped it.” When he had dipped the bread, he gave it to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son.

While he was still speaking, suddenly a mob came, and one of the Twelve named Judas was leading them. He came near Jesus to kiss him,

He replied,“ The one who dipped his hand with me in the bowl— he will betray me.

He was referring to Judas, Simon Iscariot’s son, one of the Twelve, because he was going to betray him.

While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, suddenly arrived. With him was a mob, with swords and clubs, from the chief priests, the scribes, and the elders.
