But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

But He said to them,“ It is not for you to know periods of time or appointed times which the Father has set by His own authority;

Be on the alert then, because you do not know the day nor the hour.

“ But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah.For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be.At that time there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one will be left.Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one will be left.“ Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know which day your Lord is coming.

Now as to the periods and times, brothers and sisters, you have no need of anything to be written to you.For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord is coming just like a thief in the night.

And then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory.And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven.

But at midnight there finally was a shout:‘ Behold, the groom! Come out to meet him.’

“ Now after a long time the master of those slaves* came and* settled accounts with them.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered.

So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Then if you are not alert, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond servant John,
