“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ But no one knows about that day or hour. Not even the angels in heaven know. The Son does not know. Only the Father knows.

“ But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

“ However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

“ Now concerning that day or hour no one knows— neither the angels in heaven nor the Son— but only the Father.

耶穌曰、時與日乃父以己權所定、非爾所當知也、

是以爾當警醒、因其日其時、爾不知也、又作因爾不知何日何時人子至也○

然彼日彼時、無有人知、即天使亦不知、惟我父知之、人子之臨、正如挪亞之日、在洪水先、人皆飲食嫁娶、迨挪亞入方舟之日、不覺洪水忽至、淹滅其眾、人子之臨亦若是、此時二人在田、一見取、一見遺、二婦推磨、一見取、一見遺、故當警醒、以爾不知爾主何時至也、

兄弟乎、言及日期、無庸我書以示爾、蓋爾曹詳知主日將至、如盜之乘夜而來、

是時人將見人子以大權大榮、乘雲而來、遂遣其使者、集其選民於四方、自地極至天涯、

中夜有呼云、新娶者至矣、爾出迎之、

厥後其僕之主人歸、與僕會計、

主之日至、如盜乘夜而來、當時天大震響而逝、體質被烈火銷鎔、地與地上造作之物皆被焚燬、

爾所受所聞者、當記憶謹守、亦當悔改、如爾不警醒、我必忽臨爾如盜之至、爾不能知我何時臨爾、

耶穌基督之默示、即天主所賜之者、欲以迅速將成之事、示其眾僕、耶穌遂遣天使、示其僕約翰、
