And Jesus began to say to them,“ See to it that no one misleads you.

And now I have told you before it happens, so that when it happens, you may believe.

“ These things I have spoken to you so that you will not be led into sin.They will ban you from the synagogue, yet an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering a service to God.These things they will do because they have not known the Father nor Me.But these things I have spoken to you, so that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told you of them. However, I did not say these things to you at the beginning, because I was with you.

“ But be on your guard; for they will hand you over to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.

Who is like Me? Let him proclaim and declare it; And, let him confront Me Beginning with My establishing of the ancient nation. Then let them declare to them the things that are coming And the events that are going to take place.Do not tremble and do not be afraid; Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? “ Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

“ Watch out, stay alert; for you do not know when the appointed time is.

“ But be on your guard, so that your hearts will not be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap;
