耶稣每天在圣殿里讲道，晚上则到城外的橄榄山上过夜。

圣经上不是说基督是大卫的后裔，要降生在大卫的故乡伯利恒吗？”

耶稣说：“我是公开对世人讲的，我常在犹太人聚集的会堂和圣殿教导人，没有在背地里讲过什么。

耶稣从那里往前走，有两个瞎子跟着祂，高声呼叫：“大卫的后裔啊，可怜我们吧！”

祂天天在圣殿教导人，祭司长、律法教师和百姓的官长都想杀祂，

耶稣趁着法利赛人聚在那里，就问他们：“你们对基督有何看法？祂是谁的后裔？”他们答道：“大卫的后裔。”耶稣说：“那么，为什么大卫受圣灵感动，称祂为主呢？大卫曾说，“‘主对我主说，你坐在我的右边，等我使你的仇敌伏在你脚下。’既然大卫称基督为主，基督又怎么会是大卫的后裔呢？”

他们再次回到耶路撒冷。耶稣在圣殿里行走的时候，祭司长、律法教师和长老上前质问祂：
