Now about the dead rising— have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

What about the dead rising? Haven’t you read in the Book of Moses the story of the burning bush? God said to Moses,‘ I am the God of Abraham. I am the God of Isaac. And I am the God of Jacob.’( Exodus 3:6)

And as for the dead being raised, have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, how God spoke to him, saying,‘ I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’?

“ But now, as to whether the dead will be raised— haven’t you ever read about this in the writings of Moses, in the story of the burning bush? Long after Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob had died, God said to Moses,‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’

至於死人復活，摩西在《荊棘篇》上就指明了，他稱主是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。

我要與你，以及你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，成為永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的神。我要把你現在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，賜給你和你的後裔永遠為業；我也必作他們的神。」

雅各在那裏築了一座壇，起名叫伊利‧伊羅伊‧以色列。

你去召集以色列的長老，對他們說：『耶和華－你們祖宗的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神向我顯現，說：我實在眷顧了你們，眷顧你們在埃及的遭遇。

當夜耶和華向他顯現，說：「我是你父親亞伯拉罕的神。不要懼怕，因為我與你同在，要賜福給你，也要為我僕人亞伯拉罕的緣故，使你的後裔增多。」

『匠人所丟棄的石頭已作了房角的頭塊石頭。這是主所做的，在我們眼中看為奇妙。』這經文你們沒有念過嗎？」

論到死人復活，神向你們所說的話，你們沒有念過嗎？他說：『我是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。』神不是死人的神，而是活人的神。」

「過了四十年，在西奈山的曠野，有一位天使在荊棘的火焰中向摩西顯現。摩西見了那異象，覺得很驚訝，正往前觀看的時候，有主的聲音說：『我是你列祖的神，就是亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的神。』摩西戰戰兢兢，不敢觀看。

惟你以色列，我的僕人，雅各，我所揀選的，我朋友亞伯拉罕的後裔，你是我從地極領來，從地角召來的，我對你說：「你是我的僕人；我揀選你，並不棄絕你。」你不要害怕，因為我與你同在；不要驚惶，因為我是你的神。我必堅固你，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。

若不是我父親以撒所敬畏的神，就是亞伯拉罕的神與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手而去。神看見我的苦情和我手的辛勞，就在昨夜責備了你。」

雅各說：「耶和華－我祖父亞伯拉罕的神，我父親以撒的神啊，你曾對我說：『回你本地本族去，我要厚待你。』

耶和華的使者在荊棘的火焰中向他顯現。摩西觀看，看哪，荊棘在火中焚燒，卻沒有燒燬。摩西說：「我要轉過去看這大異象，這荊棘為何沒有燒燬呢？」耶和華見摩西轉過去看，神就從荊棘裏呼叫他說：「摩西！摩西！」他說：「我在這裏。」神說：「不要靠近這裏。把你腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖地」。他又說：「我是你父親的神，是亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神，雅各的神。」摩西蒙上臉，因為怕看神。

看哪，耶和華站在梯子上面，說：「我是耶和華－你祖父亞伯拉罕的神，以撒的神。你現在躺臥之地，我要將它賜給你和你的後裔。
