He said to it,“ May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples heard it.

耶穌就對樹說：「從今以後，永沒有人吃你的果子。」他的門徒也聽見了。

耶穌謂樹曰：『此後應無人食爾果矣！』門徒共聞之。

Then he said to the tree,“ May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.

Then Jesus said to the tree,“ May no one ever eat your fruit again!” And the disciples heard him say it.

And He said to it,“ May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” And His disciples were listening.

In response Jesus said to it,“ Let no one eat fruit from you ever again.” And His disciples heard it.

And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it.

And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard[ it].

He said to it,“ May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard it.

Jesus told it,“ May no one ever eat fruit from you again!” and his disciples heard it.

Seeing a lone fig tree by the road, He went up to it and found nothing on it except leaves. And He said to it,“ May no fruit ever come from you again!” At once the fig tree withered.

Even now the ax is ready to strike the root of the trees! Therefore, every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.

If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Early in the morning, as they were passing by, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots up.Then Peter remembered and said to Him,“ Rabbi, look! The fig tree that You cursed is withered.”

“ Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit.Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.A good man produces good things from his storeroom of good, and an evil man produces evil things from his storeroom of evil.

Every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Now I will tell you what I am about to do to My vineyard: I will remove its hedge, and it will be consumed; I will tear down its wall, and it will be trampled.I will make it a wasteland. It will not be pruned or weeded; thorns and briers will grow up. I will also give orders to the clouds that rain should not fall on it.

“ Listen to another parable: There was a man, a landowner, who planted a vineyard, put a fence around it, dug a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. He leased it to tenant farmers and went away.

“ Listen, Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is One.Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.These words that I am giving you today are to be in your heart.Repeat them to your children. Talk about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead.

“ Look, today I set before you a blessing and a curse:there will be a blessing, if you obey the commands of the Lord your God I am giving you today,and a curse, if you do not obey the commands of the Lord your God and you turn aside from the path I command you today by following other gods you have not known.When the Lord your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim the blessing at Mount Gerizim and the curse at Mount Ebal.Aren’t these mountains across the Jordan, beyond the western road in the land of the Canaanites, who live in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, near the oaks of Moreh?For you are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you possess it and settle in it,

Let the unrighteous go on in unrighteousness; let the filthy go on being made filthy; let the righteous go on in righteousness; and let the holy go on being made holy.”

Whoever falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; but on whoever it falls, it will grind him to powder!”

For if, having escaped the world’s impurity through the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in these things and defeated, the last state is worse for them than the first.
