曰摩西許書離書出之、

對曰、摩西許寫離書以出之、

曰：『摩西准以休書出之。』

They said,“ Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send her away.”

They said,“ Moses allowed a man to write a letter of divorce and send her away.”

They said,“ Moses allowed a man to write a certificate of divorce and to send her away.”

“ Well, he permitted it,” they replied.“ He said a man can give his wife a written notice of divorce and send her away.”

They said,“ Moses permitted us to write divorce papers and send her away.”

They said,“ Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and send his wife away.”

They said,“ Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce, and to dismiss her.”

And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

They said,“ Moses permitted us to write divorce papers and send her away.”

They said,“ Moses allowed a certificate of divorce to be written, and to divorce her.”

人娶妻後、知妻有疵、而厭棄之、則作離書、付於其手、出之可也。既出之後、而他適。如其後夫亦不見悅、作離書付於其手而出之、或其後夫死亡。則其前夫既已棄之、為人所玷、不可再娶、此耶和華所惡也。爾上帝耶和華錫爾以地、不可污衊。

又言、若人出妻、則以離書與之、惟我語汝、非姦故而出妻、是使之有淫行也、娶所出之妻者、亦行淫也、○

其夫約瑟、義人也、不欲顯辱之、而欲私休之、

有言出妻、任其他適、既出勿納、恐斯邦染其污衊。耶和華曰、惟爾縱欲背予、崇事他上帝、今使爾歸試於我、

耶和華告以色列族曰、爾母見出、必有離書、離書云何、爾身見鬻、必有所償、所償伊誰、爾母見出、爾身見鬻、乃罪應爾。
