倚仗财势者必衰败，义人必兴旺如绿叶。

你们这些富有的人啊！为那将要临到你们身上的灾难痛哭哀号吧！你们的财物朽坏了，衣服也被虫蛀了。你们的金银生了锈，那锈必要指控你们，像火一样吞噬你们的身体。在末世的日子里，你们只知道积攒财宝。

你要劝诫那些今世富足的人不要高傲，也不要冀望于靠不住的钱财，要信靠将万物厚赐给我们享用的上帝。

“看啊，这就是不依靠上帝的人，他只倚仗自己的财富和以残暴手段获得的权势。”

你说，我很富有，已经发了财，什么都不缺。你却不知道自己困苦、可怜、贫穷、瞎眼、赤身露体。

孩子们，我与你们同在的时间不多了，以后你们要找我，但我去的地方，你们不能去。这句话我以前对犹太人说过，现在也照样告诉你们。

“为自己的家积蓄不义之财、在高处搭窝躲避灾祸的人啊，你们有祸了！

你凭智慧和头脑发了财，金银装满了你的库房。你靠高超的经商本领使财富大增，因而变得心高气傲。

钱财眨眼之间消逝无踪，它必长出翅膀如鹰飞去。

耶和华说：“智者不要夸耀自己的智慧，勇士不要夸耀自己的力量，富人不要夸耀自己的财富。

法利赛人向来贪财，他们一面听一面嗤笑耶稣。

耶稣对他们说：“孩子们，打到鱼没有？”他们回答说：“没有！”

门徒听了，惊奇地问：“这样，谁能得救呢？”

耶稣又讲了一个比喻，说：“有一个富翁，他的田里大丰收，于是心里盘算，‘我储藏农产的地方不够了，怎么办呢？’于是他说，‘不如把原有的仓库拆掉，建几座更大的，好储藏我所有的粮食和财物！那时，我就可以对自己说，“你积存这么多财产，一生享用不尽，现在大可高枕无忧、尽情地吃喝玩乐吧！”’但上帝对他说，‘无知的人啊，今晚就要取走你的命！你所预备的一切留给谁享用呢？’”耶稣说：“这就是那些只顾为自己积财、在上帝面前却不富足之人的写照。”

在耶和华发怒的日子，他们的金银救不了他们。祂的怒火必吞噬大地，祂必骤然毁灭一切世人。”

孩子们，你们属于上帝，你们已经胜过了那些假先知，因为在你们里面的圣灵比在世上运行的邪灵更有能力。

听见的人就问：“这样，谁能得救呢？”耶稣回答说：“对人而言，这不可能，但对上帝而言，凡事都可能。”

不要敲诈勒索，不要妄想靠偷盗发财，即使财富增多，也不要倚靠它。

财富是富人的坚城，在他幻想中是高墙。

孩子们啊，你们要远离偶像！

耶和华啊，求你伸手救我脱离这些人，脱离这些只在今生有福分的世人。你使他们财宝无数。他们儿女众多，还把财富留给子孙。

他们倚靠金钱、夸耀财富，却不能救赎自己的生命，也无法向上帝付生命的赎价。

孩子们，为了你们，我像一位母亲再次经历生产的痛苦，一直到基督的生命在你们里面成形。

“我若仰仗金子，依靠纯金，因财富充裕、或家产丰足而欢喜；

祂的许多门徒听了，就议论说：“这话实在难懂，谁能接受呢？”
