He answered,“ Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her.

耶穌說：「任何人休妻另娶，就是對妻子不忠，是犯通姦罪。

他對他們說：“誰休妻另娶，誰就是犯姦淫，得罪了妻子。

耶穌對他們說：『凡離棄妻子，同另一個人結婚的，就是犯姦淫辜負了妻子；

耶穌就說：「如果有人休妻，另娶別人，就是犯通姦罪觸犯妻子。

耶穌曰、凡棄妻而他娶者、乃負妻行淫也、

耶穌曰、凡棄妻他娶者、是淫行也、

耶穌曰、凡出妻而他娶者、即負妻而犯姦也、

耶穌曰：『出妻而他娶、是背妻而姦也。

He answered,“ What if a man divorces his wife and gets married to another woman? He commits adultery against her.

And he said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her,

He told them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery against her.

He said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

And He* said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her;

So He said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her:

And He said to them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

So he told them,“ Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.

I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”

“ Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.

To the married I give this command( not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband.But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

“ It has been said,‘ Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.’But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.
