答曰：『盍同赴鄰邑、俾我亦得施訓彼處；我之來、正為此耳。』

Jesus replied,“ Let us go somewhere else— to the nearby villages— so I can preach there also. That is why I have come.”

Jesus replied,“ Let’s go somewhere else. I want to go to the nearby towns. I must preach there also. That is why I have come.”

And he said to them,“ Let us go on to the next towns, that I may preach there also, for that is why I came out.”

But Jesus replied,“ We must go on to other towns as well, and I will preach to them, too. That is why I came.”

And he said to them,“ Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.”

He* said to them,“ Let’s go somewhere else to the towns nearby, so that I may also preach there; for this is why I came.”

But He said to them,“ Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because for this purpose I have come forth.”

And he saith unto them, Let us go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also; for to this end came I forth.

And He said to them,“ Let’s go on to the neighboring villages so that I may preach there too. This is why I have come.”

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

He replied,“ Let us go elsewhere, into the surrounding villages, so that I can preach there too. For that is what I came out here to do.”

He said to them,“ Let’s go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because I came out for this reason.”

But he said,“ I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” (niv)

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.He began by saying to them,“ Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” (niv)

I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” (niv)

For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. (niv)

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. (niv)

“ Why were you searching for me?” he asked.“ Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” (niv)

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. (niv)

As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. (niv)
