How shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

我詣耶和華、跪拜至上之上帝、當奉何物、豈以燔祭及盈歲之犢、而詣之乎、

民曰我欲崇拜至上之上帝耶和華、當獻何物、豈可以燔祭盈歲之犢、臚陳於前哉、

我欲詣於主前、叩拜在上之天主、當獻何物、當獻火焚祭乎、抑獻一歲之犢乎、

With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

The people of Israel say,“ What should we bring with us when we go to worship the Lord? What should we offer the God of heaven when we bow down to him? Should we take burnt offerings to him? Should we sacrifice calves that are a year old?

“ With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

What can we bring to the Lord? Should we bring him burnt offerings? Should we bow before God Most High with offerings of yearling calves?

What should I bring before the LORD when I come to bow before God on high? Should I come before him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves?

With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old?

Wherewith shall I come before Jehovah, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt- offerings, with calves a year old?

What should I bring before the Lord when I come to bow before God on high? Should I come before Him with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

Wherewith shall I come before the LORD,[ and] bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

With what should I enter the LORD’s presence? With what should I bow before the sovereign God? Should I enter his presence with burnt offerings, with year-old calves?

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn’t subject themselves to the righteousness of God.

Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said,“ Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.

Balaam said to Balak,“ Build seven altars for me here, and prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me here.”Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.

For it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.Therefore when he comes into the world, he says,“ You didn’t desire sacrifice and offering, but you prepared a body for me.You had no pleasure in whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin.Then I said,‘ Behold, I have come( in the scroll of the book it is written of me) to do your will, O God.’”Previously saying,“ Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn’t desire, neither had pleasure in them”( those which are offered according to the law),then he has said,“ Behold, I have come to do your will.” He takes away the first, that he may establish the second,by which will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Behold, one came to him and said,“ Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”

Jesus answered them,“ Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.

and crying out with a loud voice, he said,“ What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, don’t torment me.”

Balaam said to Balak,“ Build here seven altars for me, and prepare here seven bulls and seven rams for me.”Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bull and a ram.Balaam said to Balak,“ Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps Yahweh will come to meet me. Whatever he shows me I will tell you.” He went to a bare height.God met Balaam, and he said to him,“ I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.”

He was driven from the sons of men, and his heart was made like the animals’, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. He was fed with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky; until he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and that he sets up over it whomever he will.

He took him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.He said to Balak,“ Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet God over there.”

Following Paul and us, she cried out,“ These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to us a way of salvation!”

“ Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit of the holy gods is in you, and no secret troubles you, tell me the visions of my dream that I have seen, and its interpretation.

Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.Then I said,“ Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”

All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles,“ Brothers, what shall we do?”

Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker,

“ You, king, the Most High God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father the kingdom, and greatness, and glory, and majesty.

“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.He shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.The sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar, and lay wood in order on the fire;and Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar;but he shall wash its innards and its legs with water. The priest shall burn all of it on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.“‘ If his offering is from the flock, from the sheep or from the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer a male without defect.He shall kill it on the north side of the altar before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar.He shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat. The priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is on the altar,but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The priest shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.“‘ If his offering to Yahweh is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall offer his offering from turtledoves or of young pigeons.The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar;and he shall take away its crop and its feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes.He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

Your lamb shall be without defect, a male a year old. You shall take it from the sheep, or from the goats.

Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High.He blessed him, and said,“ Blessed be Abram of God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth.Blessed be God Most High, who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” Abram gave him a tenth of all.The king of Sodom said to Abram,“ Give me the people, and take the goods for yourself.”Abram said to the king of Sodom,“ I have lifted up my hand to Yahweh, God Most High, possessor of heaven and earth,

For you don’t delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. O God, you will not despise a broken and contrite heart.

Behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested him, saying,“ Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

and David said to the Gibeonites,“ What should I do for you? And with what should I make atonement, that you may bless Yahweh’s inheritance?”

For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

brought them out, and said,“ Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
