爾舉手禱告、我掩目不顧、爾雖多祈禱、我不俯聽、因爾殺無辜、手滿血跡、

斯時呼籲我而我不應、尋求我而不得遇、

仇敵呼籲、無人施救、即使呼籲主、主亦不應允、

未施矜恤者、被審判時、亦不見矜恤、蓋矜恤必勝審判、○

故我亦震怒罰之、我目不顧惜、我不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼籲我、我必不應之、

禍哉惡人、必遭災害、必循其手所作而受報、

彼日將有多人語我云、主乎、主乎、我非託爾名傳教、託爾名逐魔、託爾名廣行異能乎、

彼向木曰、爾為我父、向石曰、爾生我、彼向我以背、不向我以面、及至遭難、則曰、求主起而救我、爾所作諸神安在、爾遭患難時、何不起而救爾、猶大歟、爾神之數、與爾邑之數相等、

先知傳虛言、祭司賴之掌權、我民以此為悅、及至其終、主降罰之時、爾將何為、

主臂非短、豈不能救、主耳非聾、豈不能聽、爾與爾天主隔絕、乃爾愆尤所致、爾之罪惡、使主掩面不顧爾、不復垂聽爾、爾手污以血、爾指染以孽、口出虛誑、舌施不義、其中無一人秉公而控、無一人據實而辨、俱恃虛浮、悉言詭譎、所懷者殘害、所生者邪慝、若伏蝮卵、若織蛛網、食其卵者必死、破其卵則蝮出、所織者不能為衣、所作者不能自蔽、所為者悉邪慝、手所作者惟強暴、足疾趨行惡、速流無辜之血、思念皆屬邪慝、無論何往、惟行殘刻損害、不識平康之道、途間無公義之事、惟行邪曲之徑、凡履斯徑者、不識平康、故我冤不伸、或作故主不速伸我冤仁義仁義或作救恩不臨及我躬、我儕望光仍為幽暗、盼亮仍行於晦冥、我儕如瞽者捫墻、我捫而行、彷彿無目、日中顛蹶、如在昏夜、我處幽暗、無異死人、我咆哮如熊、哀鳴如鴿、望伸冤而不得、冀得拯救而拯救離我遠、我愆尤在主前甚多、罪戾證而訟我、愆尤隨我、我之過惡、我自知之、失信逆主、不從我天主而退於後、所言者不義與悖逆、心懷詐偽之言、即出諸口、公平遠退、義理遙立、真實顛仆於街衢、正直欲入而不能、真誠不見、離惡者反受損害、其時主鑒觀、見無公義、則甚不悅、

其時我必怒而棄之、掩面不顧之、使被吞食、多遭禍患災難、斯時也、彼必曰、我遭此禍災、豈非因我天主不在我中之故乎、我於斯時、掩面不顧之、因彼作惡從事異邦之神故、或作緣斯民作惡從事異邦之神故我於斯時掩面不顧之

凡違逆不順真理而行不義者、則報以忿怒、以患難窘苦、加諸作惡之人、先猶太人、次希拉人、

主見之甚怒、或作主見此即屏棄其民蓋其子女激其忿懥、即云我將掩面不顧之、觀其終境又將如何、彼乃乖戾違拗之類、雖為子女俱無誠信、

我儕知天主不聽罪人、惟欽崇天主、而遵行其旨者、天主則聽之、

故主如是云、我必圖維降罰罰或作災下同於斯家、如加重軛於頸項、使爾頸項永不得脫、亦不復得昂首而行、蓋時乃降罰之時、當是日人將為爾曹作諷歌、為爾曹作悲痛之哀歌云、我儕盡敗亡、敗亡或作衰敗彼使我民之業、為他人所得、使我民之業為他人所得原文作變我民之業使我所有、俱與我離、以我田疇、分予悖逆者、

萬有之主曰、我呼彼、彼不聽、彼籲我、我亦不聽、

不德律法者、其祈禱為主所厭惡、

家主起而閉門後、爾曹立於外、叩門曰、主歟、主歟、為我啟之、彼將應曰、我不識爾自何而來、
