When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them,[ even] my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken[ it].

For since by man[ came] death, by man[ came] also the resurrection of the dead.For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.Then[ cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.The last enemy[ that] shall be destroyed[ is] death.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.For it became him, for whom[ are] all things, and by whom[ are] all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet[ that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

Thus saith the LORD to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut;I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
