耶穌走遍加利利，在各會堂裡教導人，宣揚天國的福音，醫治民間各種疾病、各種病症。他的名聲傳遍了敘利亞全地，人們就把一切患病的，就是患各種疾病、疼痛、鬼附、癲癇、癱瘓的，都帶到他面前，他就醫好他們。

他卻說：“我也必須到別的城去傳神國的福音，因為我是為了這緣故奉差遣的。”於是他往猶太的各會堂去傳道。

耶穌經過各城各鄉，往耶路撒冷去，沿途教導人。

“以色列人哪，請聽聽這幾句話：正如你們所知道的，神已經藉著拿撒勒人耶穌在你們中間施行了大能、奇事、神蹟，向你們證明他是神所立的。

並且知道神怎樣用聖靈和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶穌。他到各處行善事，醫好所有被魔鬼壓制的人，因為神與他同在。

耶穌吩咐完了十二門徒，就離開那裡，在各城裡教導傳道。

就是瞎的可以看見，瘸的可以走路，患痲風的得到潔淨，聾的可以聽見，死人復活，窮人有福音聽。

對於那些人的不信，他感到詫異。耶穌到周圍的鄉村去繼續教導人。

到了黃昏，有人不斷把生病的和被鬼附的，都帶到耶穌面前。全城的人都聚集在門口。耶穌醫好了各樣的病，也趕出許多的鬼，並且不許鬼說話，因為鬼認識他。次日凌晨，天還沒有亮，耶穌起身出去，來到荒野的地方，在那裡禱告。西門和那些跟他在一起的人就去尋找耶穌。他們找到了，就對他說：“大家都在找你呢！”耶穌對他們說：“我們到鄰近的鄉鎮去吧，我也好在那裡傳道，因為我就是為這事而來的。”於是他走遍加利利全地，在他們的會堂裡傳道，並且趕鬼。

耶穌無論到甚麼地方，或村莊，或城市，或鄉野，眾人都把病人放在街上，求耶穌准他們摸他衣服的繸子，摸著的人就都好了。
