耶稣走遍加利利，在各会堂里教导人，宣扬天国的福音，医治民间各种疾病、各种病症。他的名声传遍了叙利亚全地，人们就把一切患病的，就是患各种疾病、疼痛、鬼附、癫痫、瘫痪的，都带到他面前，他就医好他们。

他却说：“我也必须到别的城去传神国的福音，因为我是为了这缘故奉差遣的。”于是他往犹太的各会堂去传道。

耶稣经过各城各乡，往耶路撒冷去，沿途教导人。

“以色列人哪，请听听这几句话：正如你们所知道的，神已经藉着拿撒勒人耶稣在你们中间施行了大能、奇事、神迹，向你们证明他是神所立的。

并且知道神怎样用圣灵和能力膏立拿撒勒人耶稣。他到各处行善事，医好所有被魔鬼压制的人，因为神与他同在。

耶稣吩咐完了十二门徒，就离开那里，在各城里教导传道。

就是瞎的可以看见，瘸的可以走路，患痲风的得到洁净，聋的可以听见，死人复活，穷人有福音听。

对于那些人的不信，他感到诧异。耶稣到周围的乡村去继续教导人。

到了黄昏，有人不断把生病的和被鬼附的，都带到耶稣面前。全城的人都聚集在门口。耶稣医好了各样的病，也赶出许多的鬼，并且不许鬼说话，因为鬼认识他。次日凌晨，天还没有亮，耶稣起身出去，来到荒野的地方，在那里祷告。西门和那些跟他在一起的人就去寻找耶稣。他们找到了，就对他说：“大家都在找你呢！”耶稣对他们说：“我们到邻近的乡镇去吧，我也好在那里传道，因为我就是为这事而来的。”于是他走遍加利利全地，在他们的会堂里传道，并且赶鬼。

耶稣无论到什么地方，或村庄，或城市，或乡野，众人都把病人放在街上，求耶稣准他们摸他衣服的繸子，摸着的人就都好了。
