The centurion replied,“ Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

But the centurion replied,“ Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.

But the officer said,“ Lord, I am not worthy to have you come into my home. Just say the word from where you are, and my servant will be healed.

憑主一言。竟獲勿藥。主言洵奇。生死肉骨。

耶穌遂與偕往、及距宅不遠、百夫長遣諸友趨前代陳曰：『主毋勞駕！主入敝廬、非所敢當！因此予亦不敢冒昧進謁。願賜一言、吾僕必愈。

主乃造化宰。萬有應聲出。

耶穌斥之曰：『毋聲、離其身、』邪魔乃拘攣其人、呼號而去。眾皆愕然相詰曰：『此何事耶？其新道歟！彼竟有權號令邪魔、而若輩且唯唯從命矣！』

耶穌伸手撫之曰：『我願也、爾潔矣！』其癩應聲立淨。

西門伯鐸祿睹此、俯伏耶穌膝下、曰：『主其離我罪人。』

耶穌曰：『豈宜取兒曹之餅、以投穉犬？』婦對曰：『主、誠然；惟几下穉犬、猶得沾主人餅屑。』

吾惟以水洗爾、用啟悔悟；然有後我者、威力遠超我上、吾雖為之執履、亦非所宜稱；彼將洗爾於聖神與靈火之中。

吾雖為之釋履帶、亦非所稱也。』

子曰：「父乎、兒獲罪於天、有忝所生、而今而後、不堪稱為爾子矣。」

如望辭曰：『吾當受爾之洗、安可就我乎？』

今而後、不堪稱為爾子、待我如傭、足矣。」

主已垂聽兮。謙者之音。必賜慰藉兮。堅固其心。

爰至西門伯鐸祿前、而伯鐸祿止之曰：『主欲濯吾足耶？』耶穌曰：『予之所為、汝今不知其意、後當知之。』伯鐸祿曰：『主決不可為吾濯足！』耶穌曰：『予不汝濯、則汝無與於我。』
