耶穌對他說：『你跟從我；任憑那些死人去埋葬他們的死人！』

但是耶穌對他說：「你跟從我，讓死人去埋葬他們的死人吧。」

This is why it is said:“ Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” (niv)

But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” (niv)

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, (niv)

made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions— it is by grace you have been saved. (niv)

The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him,“ Follow me.” (niv)

But the widow who lives for pleasure is dead even while she lives. (niv)

As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen.“ Come, follow me,” Jesus said,“ and I will send you out to fish for people.”At once they left their nets and followed him.Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John. They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them,and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. (niv)

As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth.“ Follow me,” he told him, and Matthew got up and followed him. (niv)
