另一个门徒对耶稣说：“主啊，请让我先回去安葬我的父亲。”

另一个门徒对他说：“主啊！请准我先回去安葬我的父亲吧。”

耶稣的另一个门徒对他说：“主啊，请准许我先去埋葬我的父亲。”

又有一個門徒對耶穌說：「主啊，容我先回去埋葬我的父親。」

門徒中另有一個人對耶穌說：『主啊，准我先去埋葬我的父親。』

耶穌的另一個門徒對他說：「主啊，請准許我先去埋葬我的父親。」

又一門徒謂耶穌曰、容我先往葬父、

復有一徒請曰：『主、容我先往葬父。』

Another disciple said to him,“ Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Another follower said to him,“ Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”

Another of the disciples said to him,“ Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Another of his disciples said,“ Lord, first let me return home and bury my father.”

“ Lord,” another of his disciples said,“ first let me go bury my father.”

And another of the disciples said to Him,“ Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

Then another of His disciples said to Him,“ Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

And another of the disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

“ Lord,” another of His disciples said,“ first let me go bury my father.”

And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

Another of the disciples said to him,“ Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”

Another of his disciples said to him,“ Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”

He said to another man,“ Follow me.” But he replied,“ Lord, first let me go and bury my father.”Jesus said to him,“ Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”Still another said,“ I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say goodbye to my family.”Jesus replied,“ No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (niv)

“‘ Throughout the period of their dedication to the Lord, the Nazirite must not go near a dead body.Even if their own father or mother or brother or sister dies, they must not make themselves ceremonially unclean on account of them, because the symbol of their dedication to God is on their head. (niv)

He must not enter a place where there is a dead body. He must not make himself unclean, even for his father or mother,nor leave the sanctuary of his God or desecrate it, because he has been dedicated by the anointing oil of his God. I am the Lord. (niv)

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life. (niv)

This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ These people say,‘ The time has not yet come to rebuild the Lord’s house.’” (niv)

He said of his father and mother,‘ I have no regard for them.’ He did not recognize his brothers or acknowledge his own children, but he watched over your word and guarded your covenant.He teaches your precepts to Jacob and your law to Israel. He offers incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar. (niv)

Elisha then left his oxen and ran after Elijah.“ Let me kiss my father and mother goodbye,” he said,“ and then I will come with you.”“ Go back,” Elijah replied.“ What have I done to you?”So Elisha left him and went back. He took his yoke of oxen and slaughtered them. He burned the plowing equipment to cook the meat and gave it to the people, and they ate. Then he set out to follow Elijah and became his servant. (niv)

So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. (niv)
