到那日，必有许多人对我说：‘主啊，主啊！难道我们没有奉你的名讲道，奉你的名赶鬼，奉你的名行过许多神迹吗？’

在那一天，有许多人会对我说：‘主啊，主啊，我们不是奉你的名做先知传道，奉你的名驱赶鬼魔，奉你的名行了很多神迹吗？’

當那日必有許多人對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行許多異能嗎？』

在那日必有許多人對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名傳道，奉你的名趕鬼，奉你的名行許多異能嗎？』

在那一天，有許多人會對我說：『主啊，主啊，我們不是奉你的名做先知傳道，奉你的名驅趕鬼魔，奉你的名行了很多神蹟嗎？』

彼日多人將語我云、主也主也、我非以爾名宣道、以爾名逐鬼、以爾名廣行異能乎、

當日多人將語我曰、主也、主也、我非托爾名傳教、托爾名逐鬼、托爾名廣行異能乎、

彼日將有多人語我云、主乎、主乎、我非託爾名傳教、託爾名逐魔、託爾名廣行異能乎、

彼日必有群人謂予曰：「吾主吾主、我儕非奉爾名以傳大道、以驅魔物、以行靈蹟者乎？」

Many will say to me on that day,‘ Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’

Many will say to me on that day,‘ Lord! Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we drive out demons in your name? Didn’t we do many miracles in your name?’

On that day many will say to me,‘ Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’

On judgment day many will say to me,‘ Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’

On that day many will say to me,‘ Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, drive out demons in your name, and do many miracles in your name?’

Many will say to Me on that day,‘ Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’

Many will say to Me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works?

On that day many will say to Me,‘ Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

On that day, many will say to me,‘ Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, and in your name cast out demons and do many powerful deeds?’

Many will tell me in that day,‘ Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name, in your name cast out demons, and in your name do many mighty works?’

Once the owner of the house gets up and closes the door, you will stand outside knocking and pleading,‘ Sir, open the door for us.’“ But he will answer,‘ I don’t know you or where you come from.’“ Then you will say,‘ We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’“ But he will reply,‘ I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ (niv)

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. (niv)

It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming ageand who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace. (niv)

Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon- possessed. They would say,“ In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.One day the evil spirit answered them,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” (niv)

He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, (niv)

But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. (niv)

“ But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. (niv)

The arrogance of man will be brought low and human pride humbled; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day, (niv)

on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you. (niv)

“ Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray.And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that not one of them turns from their wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah.”Therefore this is what the Lord Almighty says concerning the prophets:“ I will make them eat bitter food and drink poisoned water, because from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has spread throughout the land.”This is what the Lord Almighty says:“ Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord.They keep saying to those who despise me,‘ The Lord says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say,‘ No harm will come to you.’But which of them has stood in the council of the Lord to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word?See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked.The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. Among their victims were Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur and Reba— the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. (niv)

Now Zedekiah son of Kenaanah had made iron horns and he declared,“ This is what the Lord says:‘ With these you will gore the Arameans until they are destroyed.’”All the other prophets were prophesying the same thing.“ Attack Ramoth Gilead and be victorious,” they said,“ for the Lord will give it into the king’s hand.”The messenger who had gone to summon Micaiah said to him,“ Look, the other prophets without exception are predicting success for the king. Let your word agree with theirs, and speak favorably.”But Micaiah said,“ As surely as the Lord lives, I can tell him only what the Lord tells me.”When he arrived, the king asked him,“ Micaiah, shall we go to war against Ramoth Gilead, or not?”“ Attack and be victorious,” he answered,“ for the Lord will give it into the king’s hand.”The king said to him,“ How many times must I make you swear to tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?”Then Micaiah answered,“ I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd, and the Lord said,‘ These people have no master. Let each one go home in peace.’”The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ Didn’t I tell you that he never prophesies anything good about me, but only bad?”Micaiah continued,“ Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne with all the multitudes of heaven standing around him on his right and on his left.And the Lord said,‘ Who will entice Ahab into attacking Ramoth Gilead and going to his death there?’“ One suggested this, and another that. (niv)

I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town. (niv)

That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. (niv)

May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how many ways he helped me in Ephesus. (niv)

“ Later the others also came.‘ Lord, Lord,’ they said,‘ open the door for us!’ (niv)

Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. (niv)

The eyes of the arrogant will be humbled and human pride brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted in that day. (niv)
