“ Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.

“ Not everyone who says to Me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.

“ Not everyone who says to Me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven.

“ Not everyone who says to Me,‘ Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Not everyone who says to me,‘ Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous before God, but those who do the law will be declared righteous.

But be sure you live out the message and do not merely listen to it and so deceive yourselves.

“ Why do you call me‘ Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?

But he replied,“ Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”

Later, the other virgins came too, saying,‘ Lord, lord! Let us in!’But he replied,‘ I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’

For this is the will of my Father– for everyone who looks on the Son and believes in him to have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

They profess to know God but with their deeds they deny him, since they are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.

The one who conquers will be dressed like them in white clothing, and I will never erase his name from the book of life, but will declare his name before my Father and before his angels.

Therefore it remains for some to enter it, yet those to whom it was previously proclaimed did not enter because of disobedience.

equip you with every good thing to do his will, working in us what is pleasing before him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

“ Whoever, then, acknowledges me before people, I will acknowledge before my Father in heaven.But whoever denies me before people, I will deny him also before my Father in heaven.

Jesus answered,“ I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

in that he spends the rest of his time on earth concerned about the will of God and not human desires.

But would you like evidence, you empty fellow, that faith without works is useless?Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?You see that his faith was working together with his works and his faith was perfected by works.And the scripture was fulfilled that says,“ Now Abraham believed God and it was counted to him for righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.And similarly, was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works when she welcomed the messengers and sent them out by another way?For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.”

Blessed are those who wash their robes so they can have access to the tree of life and can enter into the city by the gates.

If anyone wants to do God’s will, he will know about my teaching, whether it is from God or whether I speak from my own authority.

Again I say, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter into the kingdom of God.”

Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God– what is good and well- pleasing and perfect.

and said,“ I tell you the truth, unless you turn around and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven!

For whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

For this is God’s will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality,

Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God,and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing to him.Now this is his commandment: that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he gave us the commandment.And the person who keeps his commandments resides in God, and God in him. Now by this we know that God resides in us: by the Spirit he has given us.

His master answered,‘ Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

The one who hates me hates my Father too.

in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Epaphras, who is one of you and a slave of Christ, greets you. He is always struggling in prayer on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in all the will of God.

Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, then you will stand outside and start to knock on the door and beg him,‘ Lord, let us in!’ But he will answer you,‘ I don’t know where you come from.’

not like those who do their work only when someone is watching– as people- pleasers– but as slaves of Christ doing the will of God from the heart.

For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.

They strengthened the souls of the disciples and encouraged them to continue in the faith, saying,“ We must enter the kingdom of God through many persecutions.”

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one can snatch them from my Father’s hand.The Father and I are one.”

Listen to this, O family of Jacob, you who are called by the name‘ Israel,’ and are descended from Judah, who take oaths in the name of the LORD, and invoke the God of Israel– but not in an honest and just manner.Indeed, they live in the holy city; they trust in the God of Israel, whose name is the LORD who commands armies.

Israel cries out to me,“ My God, we acknowledge you!”But Israel has rejected what is morally good; so an enemy will pursue him.

So he told them,“ My Father is working until now, and I too am working.”

he will rule them with an iron rod and like clay jars he will break them to pieces,

And Jesus answered him,“ You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!

So also my heavenly Father will do to you, if each of you does not forgive your brother from your heart.”

“ See that you do not disdain one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven.

But some itinerant Jewish exorcists tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were possessed by evil spirits, saying,“ I sternly warn you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.”( Now seven sons of a man named Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were doing this.)But the evil spirit replied to them,“ I know about Jesus and I am acquainted with Paul, but who are you?”Then the man who was possessed by the evil spirit jumped on them and beat them all into submission. He prevailed against them so that they fled from that house naked and wounded.This became known to all who lived in Ephesus, both Jews and Greeks; fear came over them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was praised.Many of those who had believed came forward, confessing and making their deeds known.Large numbers of those who had practiced magic collected their books and burned them up in the presence of everyone. When the value of the books was added up, it was found to total fifty thousand silver coins.In this way the word of the Lord continued to grow in power and to prevail.

Then Jesus looked around and said to his disciples,“ How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”The disciples were astonished at these words. But again Jesus said to them,“ Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

If you have known me, you will know my Father too. And from now on you do know him and have seen him.”

He went away a second time and prayed,“ My Father, if this cup cannot be taken away unless I drink it, your will must be done.”

Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed,“ My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will.”

Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

If your eye causes you to sin, tear it out! It is better to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell,
