爾祈禱時、入爾內室、既閉戶、密求爾父、則燭幽洞微之父、必將有以應爾矣。

眾既散、獨自登山祈禱；暮夜仍獨留山中。

棄惡勉行善。和睦最可悅。

勿令人見爾齋、惟暗中對越爾父、則燭幽洞微之父、必將有以報爾矣。

伯鐸祿屏眾、跽而祈禱、顧謂死者曰：『大比大起！』婦目啟、見伯鐸祿、遂起坐。

耶穌偕其徒至一園地、名日色瑪尼、謂之曰：『爾曹坐此、俟予往禱。』乃攜伯鐸祿及慈伯德二子同行。時憂自中生、戚然興悲、顧謂三徒曰：『予心鬱悒、憂傷欲絕。爾等且留此與予同為儆守。』稍前行、伏地而禱曰：『吾父乎、事苟可能、請免我飲此苦爵。雖然、勿順予意、但遵父旨。』

翌日、三人行近垣、時屆午刻、伯鐸祿登屋頂祈禱、

蓋從欲者、體欲之情；而從神者、體神之情。

因是、吾懇求

高乃流曰：『四日前、申刻、予禱於家、忽有一人、所服光明燦爛、立予前、曰：

庶幾爾之善舉、隱而不顯；則燭幽洞微之父、必將有以報爾矣。

耶穌曰：『毋撫吾身！予尚未昇詣吾父也。第去告吾諸弟、予將昇詣吾父、亦即爾父、昇詣吾天主、亦即爾天主。』

納大那曰：『汝何由知我？』耶穌曰：『斐理伯未招汝、汝憩於鳳果樹下時、予已見汝、』
