Instead, he went out and threw him in prison until he repaid the debt.When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were very upset and went and told their lord everything that had taken place.Then his lord called the first slave and said to him,‘ Evil slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me!Should you not have shown mercy to your fellow slave, just as I showed it to you?’And in anger his lord turned him over to the prison guards to torture him until he repaid all he owed.So also my heavenly Father will do to you, if each of you does not forgive your brother from your heart.”

You gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.You gave me no kiss of greeting, but from the time I entered she has not stopped kissing my feet.You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with perfumed oil.Therefore I tell you, her sins, which were many, are forgiven, thus she loved much; but the one who is forgiven little loves little.”Then Jesus said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”

O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, pay attention, and act! Don’t delay, for your own sake, O my God! For your city and your people are called by your name.”

Therefore let it be known to you, brothers, that through this one forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you,

They replied,“ We will return these things, and we will no longer demand anything from them. Forgive all the rebellious acts of your sinful people and cause their captors to have mercy on them.
