又聞古者有言、毋背誓願、指主而誓願者、必守之、

“你们又听见有吩咐古人的话，说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们又听过有对古人说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们又听过有对古人说：‘不可背誓，所起的誓总要向主谨守。’

“你们也听过吩咐古人的话，‘不可违背誓言，总要向主遵守所起的誓。’

“你们又听过有这样吩咐古人的话：‘不可背约，向主许的愿都要偿还。’

“另外，你们听过那吩咐古人的话：‘不可起假誓。你所起的誓，总要向主偿还。’

「你們又聽見有吩咐古人的話，說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們又聽過有對古人說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們又聽過有對古人說：『不可背誓，所起的誓總要向主謹守。』

「你們也聽過吩咐古人的話，『不可違背誓言，總要向主遵守所起的誓。』

“你們又聽過有這樣吩咐古人的話：‘不可背約，向主許的願都要償還。’

『再者，你們曾聽見有話對古人說：「不可違背所起的誓；你所起的誓總要向主清還。」

「另外，你們聽過那吩咐古人的話：『不可起假誓。你所起的誓，總要向主償還。』

爾又聞有語古人云、勿背誓、誓必償之於主、

爾聞有諭古人之言曰、勿妄誓、所誓者、當為主而守之、

爾又聞誡古人之言曰：「毋背誓、誓於主者當踐履之。」

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago,‘ Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’

“ Again, you have heard what was said to your people long ago. They were told,‘ Do not break the promises you make to the Lord. Keep your promises to the Lord that you have made.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’

“ You have also heard that our ancestors were told,‘ You must not break your vows; you must carry out the vows you make to the Lord.’

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord.

“ Again, you have heard that the ancients were told,‘ You shall not make false vows, but shall fulfill your vows to the Lord.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to those of old,‘ You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.’

Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to our ancestors, You must not break your oath, but you must keep your oaths to the Lord.

Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

“ Again, you have heard that it was said to an older generation,‘ Do not break an oath, but fulfill your vows to the Lord.’

“ Again you have heard that it was said to the ancient ones,‘ You shall not make false vows, but shall perform to the Lord your vows,’

爾發願於爾上帝耶和華前、彼必取償於爾、不償有罪、故償之勿遲。

指我而誓勿妄、勿瀆爾上帝之名、我耶和華所命如此。

愚魯者流、上帝所不悅、凡指上帝而發願、當償勿緩。寧勿許願、毋許而不償。勿以口所許、陷於罪戾、毋告祭司、以所許之言為誤、恐上帝震怒、敗爾所為。

言出於口、許願樂輸於爾上帝耶和華前、必償毋緩。

耶和華上帝、要當敬畏、爾曹許願、必償之兮、凡從之者、宜獻禮物兮、

如人指耶和華而許願、或發誓以自戒、則言出惟行、信不可失。若女年幼、尚在父家、指耶和華而許願以自戒、其父聞言、默然無語、則所許之願自戒之言必行。如父不允、則所許之願、所言之戒、俱不可行、父既不允、耶和華將釋之。如已適人、而造次許願以自戒、夫聞默然、則所言必行。如夫不允、則所許之願、自戒之言俱廢、耶和華將釋之。如嫠婦棄婦許願自戒、則必行之。如婦在夫家、許願發誓以自戒、夫聞默然、不之禁禦、則所言必行、如夫聞而廢之、則所許之願、自戒之言、不必行、夫既不允、耶和華將釋之。婦許願發誓、卑以自牧、夫可使之立、亦可使之廢。如夫日無所語、則婦許願以自戒必行、倘聞而默然、是使之立也。如夫聞言而廢之、必負其罪。以上所載、乃耶和華命摩西者、言女幼時、未于歸、為父所治、既適人、為夫所治、其例若此。

我乃至尊之上帝、爾當獻祭、惟謝我恩、以償厥願兮、

爾瞽而相者、其有禍乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿內之金而誓、則當償之、爾愚且瞽、金與殿、孰大乎、亦金以殿聖耳、爾又曰、人指壇而誓、則無事、惟指壇上禮物而誓、則當償之、爾愚且瞽、禮物與壇、孰大乎、禮物以壇聖耳、故指壇而誓、是指壇及在其上者而誓也、指殿而誓、是指殿及居其內者而誓也、指天而誓、是指上帝座、及坐其上者而誓也、○

報諸嘉音、傳諸和平者、陟彼山岡、猶大族中、守爾節期、輸爾所願、蓋惡人滅亡、不復侵爾土地。

爾上帝耶和華之名勿妄稱、妄稱者罪無赦。
