Moving on from there, Jesus passed along the Sea of Galilee. He went up on a mountain and sat there,

Again He began to teach by the sea, and a very large crowd gathered around Him. So He got into a boat on the sea and sat down, while the whole crowd was on the shore facing the sea.

Then He went up the mountain and summoned those He wanted, and they came to Him.

Then He went home, and the crowd gathered again so that they were not even able to eat.

Large crowds followed Him from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

Such large crowds gathered around Him that He got into a boat and sat down, while the whole crowd stood on the shore.

And a huge crowd was following Him because they saw the signs that He was performing by healing the sick.So Jesus went up a mountain and sat down there with His disciples.

These are the names of the 12 apostles: First, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him.

As He was walking along the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, since they were fishermen.“ Follow Me,” He told them,“ and I will make you fish for people!”Immediately they left their nets and followed Him.Going on from there, He saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and He called them.Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed Him.

When daylight came, He summoned His disciples, and He chose 12 of them— He also named them apostles:Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; James and John; Philip and Bartholomew;Matthew and Thomas; James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called the Zealot;Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.
