說完，她轉過身來，看見耶穌站在那裡，但她不知道那就是耶穌。耶穌問她：「婦人，你為什麼哭？你在找誰？」瑪麗亞還以為祂是園丁，就說：「先生，如果是你把祂搬走了，請告訴我放在哪裡了，我好搬回來。」耶穌說：「瑪麗亞。」瑪麗亞立即轉過頭來用希伯來話對祂說：「拉波尼！」拉波尼的意思是老師。耶穌說：「不要拉著我，我還沒有升到父那裡。你先去找我的眾弟兄，告訴他們我要升天去見我的父，也是你們的父；去見我的上帝，也是你們的上帝。」

船上的人都敬拜祂，說：「你真是上帝的兒子。」

看到耶穌就敬拜祂，但有些人仍然心存疑惑。

多馬回答說：「我的主，我的上帝！」

門徒都敬拜祂，然後歡歡喜喜地回到耶路撒冷。

耶穌在週日清晨復活後，首先向抹大拉的瑪麗亞顯現，耶穌曾在她身上趕出七個鬼。瑪麗亞趕到門徒那裡，看見他們仍然在哭泣哀悼，

瑪麗亞拿出一瓶珍貴的純哪噠香膏來抹耶穌的腳，又用自己的頭髮去擦，屋裡頓時充滿了香氣。

我看見寶座、四個活物和眾長老的周圍有千千萬萬的天使，又聽見他們高聲呼喊：「那被殺的羔羊配得權柄、財富、智慧、能力、尊貴、榮耀和頌讚！」我又聽到天上、地上、地底下和海洋中一切被造之物同聲說：「願頌讚、尊貴、榮耀和權柄都歸於坐在寶座上的那位和羔羊，直到永永遠遠！」四個活物就說：「阿們！」眾長老也俯伏敬拜。

看啊！我要使撒旦的同夥，就是那些假冒猶太人的說謊者，在你面前俯伏下拜，讓他們知道你是我所疼愛的。

當天晚上，即週日晚上，門徒因為害怕猶太人，把房門都關上了。忽然，耶穌來了，站在他們當中，對他們說：「願你們平安！」

天使到了瑪麗亞那裡，說：「恭喜你！蒙大恩的女子，主與你同在！」

她站在耶穌背後，挨著祂的腳哭，淚水滴濕了祂的腳，就用自己的頭髮擦乾，又連連親祂的腳，並抹上香膏。

最後，弟兄姊妹，我還有幾句話要說：你們要喜樂，追求完善，接受勸勉，同心合意，和睦共處。這樣，仁愛和平的上帝必常與你們同在。

遇上了城中巡邏的守衛，我就問他們：「你們看到我心愛的人了嗎？」我剛離開他們，便找到了我心愛的人。我拉著他，不讓他走；我把他帶回娘家，到懷我者的臥室。

你眷顧樂於行義、遵行你旨意的人。我們不斷地犯罪惹你發怒，我們怎能得救呢？
