伯鐸祿曰：『即使眾皆背子、予決不背。』

Peter replied,“ Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

Peter replied,“ All the others may turn away because of you. But I never will.”

Peter answered him,“ Though they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away.”

Peter declared,“ Even if everyone else deserts you, I will never desert you.”

Peter told him,“ Even if everyone falls away because of you, I will never fall away.”

But Peter replied to Him,“ Even if they all fall away because of You, I will never fall away!”

Peter answered and said to Him,“ Even if all are made to stumble because of You, I will never be made to stumble.”

But Peter answered and said unto him, If all shall be offended in thee, I will never be offended.

Peter told Him,“ Even if everyone runs away because of You, I will never run away!”

Peter answered and said unto him, Though all[ men] shall be offended because of thee,[ yet] will I never be offended.

Peter said to him,“ If they all fall away because of you, I will never fall away!”

But Peter answered him,“ Even if all will be made to stumble because of you, I will never be made to stumble.”

But he replied,“ Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.” (niv)

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,“ Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”“ Yes, Lord,” he said,“ you know that I love you.” Jesus said,“ Feed my lambs.” (niv)

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, (niv)

Peter declared,“ Even if all fall away, I will not.” (niv)

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? (niv)

Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud. (niv)

Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. (niv)

Sustain me, my God, according to your promise, and I will live; do not let my hopes be dashed.Uphold me, and I will be delivered; I will always have regard for your decrees. (niv)

In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because,“ God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (niv)

The greedy stir up conflict, but those who trust in the Lord will prosper.Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. (niv)

Many claim to have unfailing love, but a faithful person who can find? (niv)

My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled. (niv)

Simon Peter asked him,“ Lord, where are you going?” Jesus replied,“ Where I am going, you cannot follow now, but you will follow later.”Peter asked,“ Lord, why can’t I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.”Then Jesus answered,“ Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times! (niv)
