耶穌和門徒將近耶路撒冷，到了伯法其，在橄欖山那裏。

當用詩章、頌詞、靈歌彼此對說，口唱心和地讚美主。凡事要奉我們主耶穌基督的名常常感謝父神。

耶穌出來，照常往橄欖山去，門徒也跟隨他。

耶穌說了這話，就同門徒出去，過了汲淪溪。在那裏有一個園子，他和門徒進去了。賣耶穌的猶大也知道那地方，因為耶穌和門徒屢次上那裏去聚集。猶大領了一隊兵，和祭司長並法利賽人的差役，拿着燈籠、火把、兵器，就來到園裏。耶穌知道將要臨到自己的一切事，就出來對他們說：「你們找誰？」

耶穌每日在殿裏教訓人，每夜出城在一座山，名叫橄欖山住宿。

當用各樣的智慧，把基督的道理豐豐富富地存在心裏，用詩章、頌詞、靈歌，彼此教導，互相勸戒，心被恩感，歌頌神。無論做甚麼，或說話或行事，都要奉主耶穌的名，藉着他感謝父神。

但要叫世人知道我愛父，並且父怎樣吩咐我，我就怎樣行。起來，我們走吧！」

他們唱了詩，就出來，往橄欖山去。耶穌對他們說：「你們都要跌倒了，因為經上記着說：我要擊打牧人，羊就分散了。但我復活以後，要在你們以先往加利利去。」彼得說：「眾人雖然跌倒，我總不能。」耶穌對他說：「我實在告訴你，就在今天夜裏，雞叫兩遍以先，你要三次不認我。」彼得卻極力地說：「我就是必須和你同死，也總不能不認你。」眾門徒都是這樣說。

你們當向神－我們的力量大聲歡呼，向雅各的神發聲歡樂！唱起詩歌，打手鼓，彈美琴與瑟。當在月朔並月望－我們過節的日期吹角，因這是為以色列定的律例，是雅各神的典章。
