那领了六千的也前来，说：‘主啊，我知道你是个严厉的人，没有撒种的地方，你要收割；没有散播的地方，你要收聚。

“ The man who had received one talent also approached and said,‘ Master, I know you. You’re a harsh man, reaping where you haven’t sown and gathering where you haven’t scattered seed.

“ Now the one who had received the one talent also came up and said,‘ Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed.

“ Then he who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

And he also that had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou didst not sow, and gathering where thou didst not scatter;

“ Then the man who had received one talent also approached and said,‘ Master, I know you. You’re a difficult man, reaping where you haven’t sown and gathering where you haven’t scattered seed.

Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

“ He also who had received the one talent came and said,‘ Lord, I knew you that you are a hard man, reaping where you didn’t sow, and gathering where you didn’t scatter.

「另一個上前來說：『主啊，請看，你的那一百銀幣，我一直保存在手巾裡。我怕你，因為你是個嚴厲的人，不是你存放的，你提取；不是你播種的，你收穫。』「主人對他說：『你這惡奴！我要憑你的口定你的罪。你既然知道我是個嚴厲的人，不是我存放的，我提取；不是我播種的，我收穫，

他回答父親，說：『你看，我服事你這麼多年，從來沒有違背過你的命令，可是你從來沒有給過我一隻小山羊，好讓我與朋友們一同慶祝。

「不是每一個稱呼我『主啊，主啊』的人，都能進入天國；只有遵行我天父旨意的人，才能進去。

哦，人哪！你到底是誰，竟然向神頂嘴呢？被造的難道可以對造它的說：「你為什麼把我造成這樣呢？」

原來屬肉體的思想是敵對神的，因為它不服從神的律法，其實也不能服從；

萬軍之耶和華說：「你們褻瀆我的名，是因你們說：『主的桌子是可以被玷汙的，其上的果實和食物是可以被藐視的！』你們不但說：『看，真煩哪！』而且對主的桌子嗤之以鼻。你們把搶來的、瘸腿的、患病的動物帶來——竟然帶來作供物！難道我會從你們的手中悅納牠們嗎？」這是耶和華說的。

於是他們問：『我們禁食，你為什麼不看；我們刻苦己心，你為什麼不理會呢？』看哪！在禁食的日子裡，你們實際上尋求自己所喜悅的，欺壓一切為你們做工的人；

說：『這些最後來的人只工作了一個小時，而我們經受了一天的勞累和炎熱，你卻把他們和我們同等看待！』

「你們為什麼稱呼我『主啊，主啊！』卻不遵行我所說的話呢？

你們說：『服事神是枉然的！遵守神所吩咐的，在萬軍之耶和華面前哀痛而行，有什麼好處呢？所以我們就稱傲慢的人有福；作惡的人不僅得以興旺，他們試驗神也得以逃脫。』」
