那領五千銀子的又帶着那另外的五千來，說：『主啊，你交給我五千銀子。請看，我又賺了五千。』

那領三萬的上前來，另外帶了三萬，說：「主啊，你交給我三萬；請看，我另外賺了三萬了。」

那領了五千兩銀子的，帶著另外的五千兩上前來，說：『主啊，你交託給我五千兩銀子，請看，我另外賺了五千兩。』

受五千者至、又攜五千曰、主付我五千、又獲五千矣、

受五他連得者至、又攜五他連得曰、主人、付我五他連得、我因之又獲五他連得、

受五千者、攜同贏餘五千以至、而白主曰：「吾主昔以五千金見託予茲又獲五千。」

“ So he who had received five talents came and brought five other talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents; look, I have gained five more talents besides them.’

He who received the five talents came and brought another five talents, saying,‘ Lord, you delivered to me five talents. Behold, I have gained another five talents in addition to them.’

但是我不把自己的生命看为宝贵，为要跑尽我该跑的路程，完成从主耶稣所领受的服事工作，为神恩典的福音郑重地做见证。

不过有人会说：“你有信仰；我有行为。”请给我看看你没有行为的信仰，我也本于自己的行为给你看看我的信仰。

我在神、基督耶稣面前，就是将要审判活人、死人的那一位面前，藉着他的显现和他的国度郑重地劝诫你：你要传福音，无论得时不得时，总要坚持；要以极大的耐心和各样的教导责备人、告诫人、鼓励人，因为时候将到，人们容忍不了健全的教义，反要顺着自己的欲望，为自己的耳朵能被呵痒得舒服，去召聚许多教师。他们将掩耳不听真理，却转向编造的故事。至于你，要在一切事上谨慎，忍受苦难，做传福音者的工作，完成你的服事。事实上，我已经在被浇奠了；我离开世界的时候已经临到了。那美好的仗，我已经打过了；该跑的路程，我已经跑尽了；当守的信仰，我已经持守了。此后，有那公义的冠冕为我存留，就是主——公义的审判者要在那一天回报给我的；不仅给我，也要给所有爱慕他显现的人。

我也为此劳苦，藉着他在我里面的大能作为而争战。

第一个前来说：‘主啊，你的那一百银币，已经赚了一千。’“主人对他说：‘做得好，好奴仆！因为你在最小的事上忠心，你就有权掌管十个城。’

但藉着神的恩典，我成了现在的我，并且神赐给我的恩典没有落空。不但如此，我比任何使徒更加劳苦做工；其实不是我，而是与我同在的神的恩典。
