But he replied,‘ I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’

「但是新郎回答說：『我確實地告訴你們：我不認識你們。』

曰、我誠語汝、吾不爾識也、

曰、我誠告爾、我不爾識也、

答曰、我誠告爾、我不識爾曹、

主應曰：「吾實語爾、予不爾識也。」

“ But he replied,‘ Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

“ But he replied,‘ What I’m about to tell you is true. I don’t know you.’

But he answered,‘ Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“ But he called back,‘ Believe me, I don’t know you!’

“ He replied,‘ Truly I tell you, I don’t know you!’

But he answered,‘ Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’

But he answered and said,‘ Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

“ But he replied,‘ I assure you: I do not know you!’

But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

But he answered,‘ Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’

Then you will begin to say,‘ We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’But he will reply,‘ I don’t know where you come from! Go away from me, all you evildoers!’There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in the kingdom of God but you yourselves thrown out.Then people will come from east and west, and from north and south, and take their places at the banquet table in the kingdom of God.But indeed, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

However, God’s solid foundation remains standing, bearing this seal:“ The Lord knows those who are his,” and“ Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from evil.”

My sheep listen to my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

We know that God doesn’t listen to sinners, but if anyone is devout and does his will, God listens to him.

Arrogant people cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who behave wickedly.

But if someone loves God, he is known by God.

Certainly the LORD guards the way of the godly, but the way of the wicked ends in destruction.

But now that you have come to know God( or rather to be known by God), how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless basic forces? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?

You are too just to tolerate evil; you are unable to condone wrongdoing. So why do you put up with such treacherous people? Why do you say nothing when the wicked devour those more righteous than they are?
