“那些日子的患难一过去，‘太阳就要变黑，月亮也不发光，星辰要从天上坠落，诸天的各势力也将被震动。’

此難之後、日將冥、月無光、星隕自天、天象震動、

此時之難後、日即晦冥、月不發光、星隕自天、天象象或作勢震動、

大難甫平、日即晦冥、月失其明；眾星隕墜、天德動搖。

主永恆主發神諭說：『當那日我必使日、中午就落，使地在大白日天竟黑暗。

日月昏暗，星辰收回其光輝。

那時月亮必蒙羞，烈日必慚愧；因為萬軍之永恆主必作王，在錫安山、在耶路撒冷、掌權，在敬畏他、的長老面前大有榮耀。

天上的眾星羣宿都不發光；日頭一出就變黑暗，月亮也不放光。

『但是當那些日子、那苦難以後、日頭必變黑，月亮必沒有光芒，星辰必從天上墜下來，天上的列強萬象必被搖動。

羔羊揭開了第六個印的時候，我觀看，當時發生了大地震。日頭變黑像毛袋布，整個月亮變得像血。天上的星晨墜在地上，像無花果樹被大風搖動，丟下它未熟的果子一樣。天被收起，像書卷捲起來；眾山和海島都被移動、離開其位置。地上的君王、大官、千夫長、富戶、壯士、和一切為奴的、自主的、都藏在洞窟和山上的磐石裏；向山和磐石說：『倒在我們身上吧，把我們藏起來，好躲避坐寶座者的面目和羔羊的義怒哦。』因為他們遭上帝義怒的大日子到了，誰能站得住呢？

但主的日子總必來到；來時就像賊一樣。當那日、天必轟然一聲地過去，星辰必因烈熾而被消毁，地和地上被造之物就不見了。

在天上在地上我必顯出奇事，有血、有火、有煙柱；日頭必變為黑暗，月亮必變為血色，在永恆主大而可畏懼的日子未到以前。

天上的萬象都必腐壞；天必被捲起、好像書卷；它的萬象必殘敗，像葡萄樹葉之殘敗，像無花果樹葉之凋殘。

我必顯出奇事在上天、神迹在下地，有血、火、與煙霧；日頭必變成黑暗，月亮必變成血，在主的日子、大而顯赫之日、未到以前。

牠們一來，地震動，天搖撼，日月昏暗，星辰收回其光輝。

第四位天使吹了號筒；日頭的三分之一、月亮的三分之一、星晨的三分之一、就被擊打，以致日月星的三分之一都變了黑，白晝的三分之一沒有光，黑夜也是這樣。

『在日月星辰上必有迹象，在地上列國人必有困苦；因了海和翻浪之響聲，人都在為難失措中；由於懼怕、以及對那即將臨到天下之事的期待慌，人都昏絕了；因為天上的列強萬象必被搖動。

永恆主的大日子臨近了，臨近而來得極快；永恆主的日子比奔跑的人輕快，比勇士迅速。那日是永恆主震怒的日子，是急難窘迫的日子，是荒廢淒涼的日子，是黑暗墨黑的日子，是密雲暗霧的日子，

那時、因那小角說着誇大之話的聲音，我就觀看，看見那獸被殺，牠的身體被毁壞，交給火燒。其餘的獸、牠們的權柄都被奪去，牠們的壽命卻仍延長、到所定的時候及時期。

永恆主的日子不是黑暗、沒有亮光麼？不是幽暗、毫無光輝麼？

我觀看大地，啊，地沒有定形，混混沌沌；我觀看天，天呢、沒有光。我觀看山嶺，啊，山嶺全都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。我觀看，啊，沒有人；空中的飛鳥也都逃掉。我觀看，啊，園地竟變為曠野；一切城市、在永恆主面前、因他的烈怒、都被拆毁。因為永恆主這麼說：『全國都必荒涼；但我卻不盡行毁滅。因此地必悲哀，上面的天也必黑暗；因為我已經說出，必不後悔；我已經定意，必不轉回。』

我使你熄滅時，必將天遮蔽着，使星辰昏暗現悲相；我必用密雲去遮掩日頭，月亮必不發光。天上之光的發光體我必使它們在你上頭都昏暗現悲相；我必將黑暗放在你國內：這是主永恆主發神諭說的。

因為那時必有大苦難；這樣的苦難、從世界的起頭、直到如今、還沒有過，將來也一定不會有的。

這一切事卻只是災難的起頭。
