For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

因为人子降临的时候必如划过长空的闪电，从天这边一直照亮到天那边。但祂必须先受苦，被这个世代弃绝。“人子降临时的情形将像挪亚的时代，人们吃喝嫁娶，一直到挪亚进入方舟那天，洪水来了，毁灭了他们；又像罗得的时代，人们吃喝、做买卖、耕地、盖房。在罗得离开所多玛那天，烈火和硫磺从天而降，把他们全毁灭了。“人子显现之日的情形也是如此。那天，在自己屋顶上的，不要下来收拾行李；在田里工作的，也不要回家。你们要记住罗得妻子的事。想保全生命的，必丧失生命；丧失生命的，必保全生命。我告诉你们，那天晚上，两个人睡在一张床上，一个将被接去，一个将被撇下；两个女人一起推磨，一个将被接去，一个将被撇下；

耶和华必在他们上面显现，祂的箭如闪电射出。主耶和华必吹响号角，乘南方的暴风而来。

然而，祂来临的日子，谁能承受得了呢？祂出现的时候，谁能站立得住呢？因为祂像炼金之火，又像漂白衣裳的碱。

人子降临时的情形就像挪亚的时代。

我实在告诉你们，有些站在这里的人会在有生之年看见人子降临在祂的国度里。”

“看啊，在耶和华那伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，我必差遣以利亚先知到你们那里。

他们懵然不知，直到洪水来把他们全冲走了。人子降临时的情形也是这样。

耶和华必使人听见祂威严的声音，在愤怒、烈焰、暴雨、雷轰和冰雹中让人看见祂降罚的臂膀。

祂使闪电划过整个天空，亮光直照到地极。

“主要降临的应许在哪里？从我们的祖先长眠地下直到现在，万物依旧与创世之初一样。”

你能命闪电发出，让它听候调遣吗？

耶稣说：“狐狸有洞，飞鸟有窝，人子却没有安枕之处。”

耶稣正坐在橄榄山上，门徒私下来问祂：“请告诉我们，这事什么时候会发生？你再来和世界末日的时候会有什么预兆？”

同样，你们也要忍耐，心志坚定，因为主快来了。
