“ So when you see standing in the holy place‘ the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel— let the reader understand—

那王必与许多人缔结一七之久的盟约。一七之半，他必终止祭牲和供物，并且设立带来毁灭的可憎之物，直到所定的结局临到这恶者。”

“当你们看见‘那带来毁灭的可憎之物’站在不当站的地方时（读者须会意），住在犹太地区的人要逃到山上去；

“你们看见耶路撒冷被重兵包围时，就知道它被毁灭的日子快到了。

他的军队必亵渎圣地，亵渎那堡垒，废除日常献的祭，设立带来毁灭的可憎之物。

因为有一天敌人要在你周围筑起壁垒把你团团围住，四面攻击你。

那位宣读这预言的人和那些听见并遵守其中内容的人有福了，因为日期近了。

你刚开始祈求，就已赐下答复，我是来告诉你的，因为你倍受眷爱。所以你要留意以下的信息，明白异象的意思。

你要知道，也要明白，从重建耶路撒冷的命令发出，到受膏的君王来临，其间有七个七加六十二个七。耶路撒冷城及其广场和壕沟必得重建，且是在艰难时期。

他说：“但以理啊，不要怕，从你在上帝面前谦卑地恳求明白这异象的第一天，你的祷告已蒙垂听。我是来答复你的。波斯国的守护神拦阻我二十一日。由于我滞留在波斯诸王那里，天使长米迦勒便来帮助我。我来是要使你明白将来你同胞的遭遇，因为这异象是关于将来的事。”

因此，我们必须更加重视所听的道，以免随流漂去。

他们还派人作伪证说：“司提凡常常讲侮辱圣地和律法的话。

那人对我说：“人子啊，你要留心用眼看，专心用耳听，注意我指示你的一切，因为我带你来这里正是为了要指示你。你要把所见到的一切告诉以色列人。”

‘圣灵对各教会所说的话，凡有耳朵的都应当听。’”

如果让祂这样继续下去，所有的人都会信祂，那时罗马人一定会来夺取我们的土地，掳掠我们的人民。”
