經學士和法利賽人、假冒為善的人哪，你們有禍啊！因為你們周遊了洋海旱地，使一個人成了歸依人，既歸依了，你們又使他做該入地獄的人，比你們還加倍！

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们走遍洋海陆地，勾引一个人入教，既入了教，却使他作地狱之子，比你们还加倍。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们走遍海洋陆地，说服一个人入教，既入了教，却使他成为比你们加倍坏的地狱之子。

“你们这假冒为善的文士和法利赛人有祸了！因为你们走遍海洋陆地，说服一个人入教，既入了教，却使他成为比你们加倍坏的地狱之子。

“虚伪的律法教师和法利赛人啊，你们有祸了！因为你们走遍海洋和陆地去引人入教，等人入了教，却使他沦为地狱之子，比你们还坏一倍。

“虚伪的经学家和法利赛人哪，你们有祸了！你们走遍海洋陆地，要使一个人入教；当他入了教，你们却使他沦为地狱之子，比你们更甚。

“经文士和法利赛人哪，你们这些伪善的人有祸了！因为你们为了使一个人入教，走遍海洋和陆地，一旦那人成了教徒，你们就使他成为比你们加倍坏的地狱之子。

“虛偽的經學家和法利賽人哪，你們有禍了！你們走遍海洋陸地，要使一個人入教；當他入了教，你們卻使他淪為地獄之子，比你們更甚。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們為了使一個人入教，走遍海洋和陸地，一旦那人成了教徒，你們就使他成為比你們加倍壞的地獄之子。

禍哉、爾偽善之士子、與法利賽人乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進矣、乃使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、○

偽善之士子、𠵽唎㘔人、其有禍乎、以爾周行水陸、使一人進教、既進、又使為地獄之人、較倍於爾也、

禍哉爾偽善之經士與法利賽人、因爾周行水陸、導一人進教、及進教、使之為磯很拿之人、較倍於爾也、

哀哉爾經生與法利塞人、虛偽之徒也、蓋爾周行海陸、招人入教、既入、則引之為地獄子、較爾猶惡。

“ Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when you have succeeded, you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

“ How terrible for you, teachers of the law and Pharisees! You pretenders! You travel everywhere to win one person to your faith. Then you make them twice as much a child of hell as you are.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.

“ What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!

會堂散了會，猶太人和虔敬歸依猶太教的、有許多人跟從保羅和巴拿巴。二人就對他們談論，勸導他們要堅心持守着上帝之恩。

但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄發怒的，必須擔受判罰；凡罵弟兄為「飯桶」的，必須擔受議院的判罰；凡罵弟兄為「傻瓜」的，必須擔受地獄的火。

就是我們從前也都在其中，在我們肉體的私慾裏起居，行肉體上、心神上所意願的，生來就是該受上帝義怒的兒女，像會外人一樣——。

但是不信的猶太人卻激起了又毒壞了外國人的心來害弟兄們。

說：『哦，你這充滿一切詭詐、一切匪行、魔鬼的兒子、一切正義的仇敵啊，你使主正直的路偏差、還不停止麼？

那些人拿熱心待你們，原不是好意，乃是想要把你們關在外面，叫你們拿熱心待他們罷了。

是那些想要在肉體上誇體面的、才勉強你們受割禮呢；這不過是要避免為基督的十字架受逼迫罷了。

弗呂家和旁非利亞、埃及和靠近古利奈的呂彼亞區域的人、以及旅居的羅馬人、

但是有些猶太人突然從安提阿和以哥念來到，唆誘羣眾，用石頭打保羅，拖出城外，以為他已經死了。

但是猶太人卻起了妒忌的心，招聚些市井惡人，搭夥成羣，轟亂那城，闖進耶孫的家，想法子要將保羅西拉帶交民眾。找不着他們，就把耶孫和幾個弟兄拖到眾城官那裏，呼喊着說：『這些攪亂天下的也到這裏來了！

你們是出於你們的父魔鬼的；你們的父的私慾、你們才願意行。他從起初就是殺人的，不站立在真實上，因為在他裏面沒有真實。他說謊言時，乃由本性說出來，因為他是撒謊者，是撒謊者的父。

但帖撒羅尼迦的猶太人知道上帝之道也在庇哩亞給保羅傳布開了，也就往那裏去，搖動羣眾，攪亂他們。

凡王的諭旨勅令所到的地方、一省一省、一城一城、猶大人都歡喜快樂，宴飲度假。國中有許多族的人因為起了震懾猶大人的心，就入了猶大籍。

這話使全羣的眾人都滿意，他們就揀選一個充滿着信心和聖靈的人司提反、以及腓利、伯羅哥羅、尼迦挪、提門、巴米拿，和歸依猶太教的安提阿人尼哥拉；

若是你的右眼使你絆跌，你要把它剜出來，丟掉它；因為你肢體中的一肢失掉了，而你的全身不丟在地獄裏，這對於你倒還好。
