『天國又好像拖網撒在海裏，聚攏着各樣的水族。網既滿了，人就拉上灘來，坐下，收取好的在桶子裏，把壞的丟在外面。

田地呢、是世界；好種子呢、是天國之子；稗子呢、是那邪惡者之子。

她們去買的時候，新郎到了；那些有準備的同他進去赴婚筵，門就關了。

『那時天國好比十個童女、拿着她們的火把出去、要迎接新郎。其中有五個是愚拙的，五個是精明的。

他們從我們中間出去，卻又不曾屬於我們；如果曾屬於我們，他們就會繼續同我們在一起了；可是他們出去了，這是要顯明他們不是都屬於我們。

他們直唱新的歌說：『你是配取那書卷、而揭開其印的；因為你曾被屠殺，曾用你的血從各族派各種語言的人、各民族各邦國中、買了人來，歸於上帝；

豈不知不義的人不能承受上帝的國麼？別自己錯誤了！無論是嫖妓或作男倡的、是拜偶像的、或姦淫的、是做孌童的、或親男色的、是偷竊的、或貪婪的、醉酒的、辱罵人的、勒索人的、都不能承受上帝的國。你們中間也有人從前是這樣。但如今呢、在主耶穌基督名內、又在我們上帝之靈的感動中、已經洗淨，已成聖別，已稱為義了。

我聽見有聲音、彷彿是極大羣人的聲音、彷彿眾水之聲音、彷彿強有力之雷的聲音、說：『哈利路亞！主我們的上帝、全能者、掌王權了！我們要歡喜快樂，將榮耀獻與他，因為羔羊的婚期已到，祂的新婦已經豫備好了；並且得賞賜、可以披上明亮潔淨的細麻衣；』（這細麻衣就是聖徒所行的義）。天使對我說：『你要寫下來：「被請赴羔羊婚筵的有福啊！」』又對我說：『這些話是上帝真實的話。』

不過我有一點要責備你的，就是你有執守巴蘭教訓的人在你那裏。這巴蘭教導了巴勒將絆跌物丟在以色列人面前，叫他們喫祭偶像之物並行邪淫、變節去拜偶像。照樣地、連你也有執守尼哥拉派教訓的人。

不過我有一件要責備你的，就是你容讓那婦人耶洗別；她說自己是神言人，又教導又迷惑我的僕人們去行邪淫、變節拜偶像、喫祭偶像之物。我給了她時間、讓她悔改；她又不願意改悔她的淫亂。看吧，我必將她丟在病床上；那些同她行淫的人若不改悔她的行為，我也必將他們丟在大苦難中。我必以死亡擊殺她的兒女；眾教會就知道我是探索透人肺腑腎腸的；我必照你們的行為將各人所應得的報給你們。

怕我再到你們那裏去的時候、我的上帝卑抑了我在你們面前；怕因許多人從前犯了罪、還沒有改悔他們所習行的污穢淫亂和邪蕩，我就不得不哀慟。

『王進來視察坐席的人，看見一個沒有穿婚筵禮服的人在那裏，就對他說：「同伴哪，你沒有婚筵禮服，怎麼進這裏來呢？」那人閉口無言。

這些事以後我觀看，見有一大羣人，沒有人能數過來：從各邦國各族派各民族各種語言的人中間出來的；站在寶座和羔羊面前；披着白袍，手裏拿着棕樹枝。
