也不用人手去服侍，好像缺少甚麼似的；自己倒將生命、氣息、萬物賜給萬人。

你們知道我們主耶穌基督的恩典：他本是富足，卻為你們成了貧窮，好使你們因他的貧窮而成為富足。

弟兄們，我們要把上帝賜給馬其頓眾教會的恩惠告訴你們：他們在患難中受大考驗的時候，仍然滿有喜樂，在極度貧窮中還格外顯出他們樂捐的慷慨。

「你起身到西頓的撒勒法去，住在那裏，看哪，我已吩咐那裏的一個寡婦供養你。」

感謝上帝，把我對你們的熱忱同樣放在提多心裏。

掃羅也往基比亞自己的家去，有一羣心中被上帝感動的勇士跟隨他。

「我算甚麼，我的百姓算甚麼，竟然能夠如此樂意奉獻？因為萬物都從你而來，我們把從你的手得來的獻給你。我們在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，與我們的列祖一樣。我們在世的日子如影子，沒有盼望。耶和華－我們的上帝啊，我們預備這許多材料，要為你的聖名建造殿宇，都是從你的手而來，都是屬你的。

因為你曾賜給他權柄掌管凡血肉之軀的，使他把永生賜給你所賜給他的人。

以斯拉說：「耶和華－我們列祖的上帝是應當稱頌的！因他使王起這心願，使耶路撒冷耶和華的殿得榮耀，

地和其中所充滿的，世界和住在其中的，都屬耶和華。

銀子是我的，金子也是我的。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。這後來的殿的榮耀必大過先前的榮耀。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。在這地方我必賜平安。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』」

於是，猶大和便雅憫的族長、祭司、利未人，凡是心被上帝感動的人都起來，要上耶路撒冷去建造耶和華的殿。

因為，林中的百獸是我的，千山的牲畜也是我的。山中的飛鳥，我都知道，田野的走獸也都屬我。

父愛子，已把萬有交在他手裏。

波斯王居魯士元年，耶和華為要應驗藉耶利米的口所說的話，就激發波斯王居魯士的心，使他下詔書通告全國，說：

各樣美善的恩澤和各樣完美的賞賜都是從上頭來的，從眾光之父那裏降下來的；在他並沒有改變，也沒有轉動的影兒。
