saying unto them, Go into the village that is over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

對他們說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼這麼做，你們就說『主需要牠，會很快把牠送回這裡來的。』」

他的母親對僕人們說：「他吩咐你們什麼，你們就做什麼。」照猶太人潔淨的規矩，有六口石缸擺在那裡。每缸可容兩三桶水。耶穌對僕人們說：「把這些缸裝滿水。」他們就裝滿了，直到缸沿。耶穌又對他們說：「現在舀出來，送去給管宴席的。」他們就送去了。

於是耶穌差派了他的兩個門徒，對他們說：「你們進城去，會有一個人提著一罐水迎面而來，你們就跟著他。他進哪一家，你們就對那家的主人說：『老師問：我的客房，就是我與我的門徒們一起吃逾越節晚餐的客房在哪裡呢？』他會給你們看樓上一間預備好的大房間。你們就在那裡為我們預備吧。」兩個門徒出去，進了城，所看到的正如耶穌對他們所說的。他們就預備了逾越節的晚餐。

說：「你們到對面的村子裡去。你們一進村，就會發現一頭驢駒拴在那裡，是從來沒有人騎過的。你們把牠解開牽過來。如果有人問你們為什麼解開牠，你們就這樣說『主需要牠。』」被差派的人去了，發現事情正如耶穌所告訴他們的。

耶穌說：「你們進城去，到某人那裡，告訴他：『老師說，我的時候快到了。我要在你那裡與我的門徒們一起守逾越節。』」
