他們來到耶路撒冷。耶穌進入聖殿，趕出殿裏做買賣的人，推倒兌換銀錢之人的桌子和賣鴿子之人的凳子；也不許人拿着器具從殿裏經過；便教訓他們說：「經上不是記着說：我的殿必稱為萬國禱告的殿嗎？你們倒使它成為賊窩了。」祭司長和文士聽見這話，就想法子要除滅耶穌，卻又怕他，因為眾人都希奇他的教訓。

「人奉給耶和華的供物，若以鳥為燔祭，就要獻斑鳩或是雛鴿為供物。

「他的力量若不夠獻一隻羊羔，就要因所犯的罪，把兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿帶到耶和華面前為贖愆祭：一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭。

她的力量若不夠獻一隻羊羔，她就要取兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿，一隻為燔祭，一隻為贖罪祭。祭司要為她贖罪，她就潔淨了。」

又要照主的律法上所說，或用一對斑鳩，或用兩隻雛鴿獻祭。

當耶和華－你神賜福與你的時候，耶和華－你神所選擇要立為他名的地方若離你太遠，那路也太長，使你不能把這物帶到那裏去，你就可以換成銀子，將銀子包起來，拿在手中，往耶和華－你神所要選擇的地方去。你用這銀子，隨心所欲，或買牛羊，或買清酒濃酒，凡你心所想的都可以買；你和你的家屬在耶和華－你神的面前吃喝快樂。

凡過去歸那些被數之人的，每人要按聖所的平，拿銀子半舍客勒；這半舍客勒是奉給耶和華的禮物（一舍客勒是二十季拉）。

第八天，要取兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿，來到會幕門口、耶和華面前，把鳥交給祭司。

「滿了潔淨的日子，無論是為男孩是為女孩，她要把一歲的羊羔為燔祭，一隻雛鴿或是一隻斑鳩為贖罪祭，帶到會幕門口交給祭司。

又照他的力量取兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿，一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭。

那人又要照他的力量獻上一隻斑鳩或是一隻雛鴿，

「他的力量若不夠獻兩隻斑鳩或是兩隻雛鴿，就要因所犯的罪帶供物來，就是細麵伊法十分之一為贖罪祭；不可加上油，也不可加上乳香，因為是贖罪祭。
