他們就挨近約瑟的管家，在屋門口與他說話。

因為，身為神的管家，做監督的必須無可指責、不任性、不暴躁、不酗酒、不好鬥、不貪圖不正當的利益；

接著，我看見一個白色的大寶座和坐在它上面的那一位。地和天都從他面前逃避，連它們的地方也找不到了。我又看見死去的人，無論尊貴卑微，都站在那寶座前。書卷都打開了；另有一個書卷也打開了，這就是生命冊。死去的人都憑著書卷中所記的，照著他們的行為受審判。

神將照著各人的行為回報各人：對那些恆心行善，尋求榮耀、尊貴、不朽的，就以永恆的生命回報他們；而對那些營私爭競、不肯信從真理、反信從不義的，就以震怒和憤恨回報他們。神要把患難和困苦加給一切作惡之人的靈魂，先是猶太人的，後是外邦人的；而把榮耀、尊貴、平安賜給所有做美善事的人，先是猶太人，後是外邦人。

撒稗子的仇敵是魔鬼，收割的季節是世代的終結，收割的人是天使。就像稗子被拔出來用火燒掉，在這世代的終結也將是這樣。

「當人子在他的榮耀中，與所有的天使一起來臨的時候，他那時就要坐在他榮耀的寶座上。

因為我們大家都必須站在基督的審判臺前，好使每個人都為自己藉著身體所做的，或善或惡，領受回報。

主說：「究竟誰是那又忠心又聰明的管家——受主人委任統管他家人、按時分發糧食的人呢？

照樣，基督為了擔當眾人的罪孽，也被獻上一次；將來還要再一次顯現，不是為了罪，而是為了使那些熱切等待他的人得到救恩。

你們當住在那一家，吃喝他們所供給的，因為工人配得自己的酬報。不要從這家搬到那家。

又有希律的管家苦撒的妻子約亞娜，以及蘇珊娜和許多別的婦女，她們都用自己所擁有的來服事耶穌和門徒們。

耶穌又對門徒們說：「某財主有個管家，這個管家被人控告揮霍主人的財產。財主就把管家叫來，對他說：『我聽到有關你的事，到底是什麼？把你所管理的做出交代，因為你不能再當管家了。』

亞伯蘭說：「主耶和華啊，你要賜給我什麼呢？我一直沒有孩子，我家業的繼承人是大馬士革人以利以謝。」

這樣，人應該把我們看做是基督的僕人、神奧祕之事的管家。在這裡，進一步要求管家們的是，各人都要被看做是忠心的。

約瑟就在他主人的眼前蒙恩，事奉他的主人。他主人指派他管理自己的家，把自己所擁有的一切都交在他的手中。自從波提乏指派約瑟管理家和所擁有的一切，耶和華就因約瑟的緣故祝福了那埃及人的家；無論在家裡或在田間，他所擁有的一切都蒙耶和華的祝福。他把自己所擁有的一切都交託在約瑟的手中；有約瑟在，他除了自己吃的飯以外，什麼事都不理會。約瑟有著健美的身材、俊美的容貌。

「過了很久，那些奴僕的主人回來，與他們清算帳目。

每個人要照著自己所領受的恩賜來彼此服事，做神各種恩典的好管家。
