He said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.

謂之曰、爾亦往葡萄園、所宜與者、我與爾、其人遂往、

謂之曰、爾亦往葡萄園、必以所應給者給爾、其人遂往、

謂之曰：「爾等亦往我園中、當與爾以應得之值。」

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard, and I will pay you whatever is right.’

He told them,‘ You also go and work in my vineyard. I’ll pay you what is right.’

and to them he said,‘ You go into the vineyard too, and whatever is right I will give you.’

So he hired them, telling them he would pay them whatever was right at the end of the day.

He said to them,‘ You also go into my vineyard, and I’ll give you whatever is right.’ So off they went.

and to those he said,‘ You go into the vineyard also, and whatever is right, I will give you.’ And so they went.

and said to them,‘ You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went.

and to them he said, Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

To those men he said,‘ You also go to my vineyard, and I’ll give you whatever is right.’ So off they went.

And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

He said to them,‘ You go into the vineyard too, and I will give you whatever is right.’

Don’t you know that when you present yourselves as servants and obey someone, you are the servants of whomever you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?But thanks be to God, that, whereas you were bondservants of sin, you became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching to which you were delivered.Being made free from sin, you became bondservants of righteousness.I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh, for as you presented your members as servants to uncleanness and to wickedness upon wickedness, even so now present your members as servants to righteousness for sanctification.For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.

Therefore prepare your minds for action. Be sober, and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ—

When they saw it, they all murmured, saying,“ He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.”Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord,“ Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.”Jesus said to him,“ Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”

I thank him who enabled me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service;although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven.

As Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him,“ Follow me.” He got up and followed him.

When he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said,“ By what authority do you do these things? Who gave you this authority?”Jesus answered them,“ I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.The baptism of John, where was it from? From heaven or from men?” They reasoned with themselves, saying,“ If we say,‘ From heaven,’ he will ask us,‘ Why then did you not believe him?’But if we say,‘ From men,’ we fear the multitude, for all hold John as a prophet.”They answered Jesus, and said,“ We don’t know.” He also said to them,“ Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first, and said,‘ Son, go work today in my vineyard.’He answered,‘ I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind, and went.He came to the second, and said the same thing. He answered,‘ I’m going, sir,’ but he didn’t go.Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said to him,“ The first.” Jesus said to them,“ Most certainly I tell you that the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering into God’s Kingdom before you.

Some of you were such, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

This saying is faithful, and concerning these things I desire that you affirm confidently, so that those who have believed God may be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men;

that you no longer should live the rest of your time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.
