He sent them to Bethlehem and said,“ Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him.”

猶大便雅憫之敵、聞俘囚之眾、為以色列之上帝耶和華建殿、則詣所羅巴伯與族長、謂之曰、請許我與爾同建、蓋我尋求爾之上帝、如爾曹然、自亞述王以撒哈頓攜我來時、以迄於今、與之獻祭、

耶洗別遣人謂以利亞曰、明日斯時、我若不喪爾命、如爾喪彼眾之命、則願諸神罰我維倍、

奸惡在於其中、暴虐詭譎、不離其衢兮、非敵我者詬我、若然、尚可容忍、非憾我者驕我、若然、則必退避兮、乃爾也、我之同儔、我之伴侶、我之密友兮、素昔和衷共議、偕眾行於上帝室兮、奸惡在其室、在其衷、願死亡倏臨之、生墮陰府兮、

非主所命、誰能言之、而即成兮、

賣師者與以號、曰、我接吻者是也、可執之、即就耶穌曰、夫子安、遂吻接之、

押沙龍及以色列眾曰、亞基人戶篩之謀、較亞希多弗之謀尤善、蓋耶和華預定敗亞希多弗之謀、以禍押沙龍、○

懷憾之人、口務文飾、心藏詭譎、其言雖甘、爾勿信之、蓋其心藏可惡之端有七、

耶戶集民眾、謂之曰、亞哈奉事巴力猶少、耶戶將事之加多焉、今我欲獻大祭於巴力、當召巴力之眾先知、與崇拜巴力者、及其祭司、使悉詣我、勿遺一人、凡不至者、必不得生、耶戶言此、乃施詭計、欲滅崇拜巴力之人耳、

蓋斯世之智、於上帝為愚、記有之、主令智者自中其詭計、又曰、主知智者之意念皆虛、

智慧明哲謀畧、無有能敵耶和華者、

人言大衛甚狡、請爾旋歸、復察其實、觀其匿於何方、為誰所見、察其所匿諸處、既得其實、則返以告、我偕爾往、若在斯土、我必於猶大億兆中、索之務獲、
